I got my order in at 6:03am or 6:04AM, got my conformation email at 6:06am (two minutes after I actually submitted.) I also have the 9/25 delivery date which I am bummed about but am hoping I get bumped up to launch day. I am thankful though I don't have a Oct delivery date. First time I decided to get the flagship color...Orange is not usually my thaannngggg but I when will I have another chance at having an orange iPhone since I'm in the IUP?!?

There was no option for delivery on 9/19 for me, I was at my computer and iPhone at 4:50am waiting, every preorder option I had ready showed 9/25 and I leave on a flight on 9/23. I could not risk it and had to do an instore pick up 60+ miles away. It took four tries to check out as they kept saying my time slot was no longer available and got pushed bay to 2:30pm. I do have AirPods Pro 3s being delivered that day, I hope they show before I have to leave for Tigard OR at 1pm.
That’s crazy. It took forever to get past the “keep this page open while we wait and let you in”. Had I not chosen pickup it would have been the 25th
Pre-pre-order confirmed my Apple Card info was up to date on Apple Store. I have had issues in the past with having to re-enter the info while the clock was ticking and the phone was actually delayed because of it.
This year i was able to know that step was complete without the time pressure when the Store opened. I only had a few clicks to confirm device and time of pickup at the store.
I am thinking that 25th date will update, but it i hard to say for sure before folks start posting that they've been updated. It is a common occurrence in past years that phones arrived before their originally stated shipping dates.

I upgraded my wife’s 14 Pro with an iPhone Air, ordered through AT&T at 6:50am CST and it’s scheduled for delivery next Friday. At that point I’ll decide whether I order one for myself, or get a 17 PM instead.
My house is at the very end of UPS route, so i usually don't get deliveries till 7-8pm. It's torture watching everyone get their new phones online, while I sit and wait for hours..... Apple store is a 5 minute drive from my house, so i can go get my phone first thing in the morning.
I got the silver… I remember the last time they did black on aluminum it seemed to show scratches more…
Curious to see how the orange holds up…
I religiously keep my phone in a case so the color doesn’t really matter for me though..

Guys I'm doing pick up in store, does apple store require activation in the store? or I can do it myself?
Wouldn't get launch day (still have to wait till Saturday) but I find it easier then sitting around and waiting for UPS. Though I do love tracking the silly planes lol
I see some of you saying you got the option of in store activation and getting a return box ( verbiage clearly different than i said haha ). I didn’t get that option and knowing I have to do the trade there is lame. What if i decide i don’t want to keep the 17, I don’t have my 16 anymore.

You can activate in the store but a lot of people will be on their wifi so it'll probably be super slow. I've seen people try to back up their old phone in the store on launch day, crazy, takes hours.
