Didn’t Apple switch to a random serial number system so that you can’t figure out the date of manufacture and other information?

I'd hope so! I'd read something about the first letter in the past, with "M" indicating new and not refurbished... that unit was manufactured in August. The other new 17PM I'd got starts with "H", was manufactured in September, and was backordered until 2 weeks ago.

Has anyone had to deal with "Express Replacements" on the iPhone 17 Pro?

Like other stuff I've received direct from Apple Support, I figured these would be next-day deliveries, but apparently it's taking way longer to get replacement iPhone 17 models to people.

I just contacted Apple Support today to check the status and see if they had any more information, and all they could tell me was to just keep waiting and that replacements are "not yet available in your area" - whatever that means.

It's been over a week of "Replacement product pending" for an iPhone 17 Pro.
