I'm ready to go back to the 90's and hit the reset button on America.
There is an interesting parallel dimension where Gore won and the idiot wing of the republican party didn't take over. I wish i didn't have to care, but what happens in the US has a huge impact on the rest of the world. Conservative/centre right politicians the world over were the first to lose their minds, unfortunately it seems most politicians anywhere near power are now afflicted by the same brain rot. Im not convinced humans are capable of dealing with such short attention spans in news cycles and beyond.

That was the first seriously consequential example of the Supreme Court partisanship showing, and them putting their thumb on the scale based upon partisan preference for an outcome.

And now look where we are.

(off... the... rails)

Yes, Android is known for launching features first, for example, their version of FaceID came out first, but it's crap when compared to the Real FaceID.
Throwing half-ass features just to be the first one is not the way to do things. It's just consumer bait for those who want to brag about having new features on their devices, although these features are not properly implemented and lack practical use.
Apple is taking their time with the foldable phones because they don't want to release a phone with a crease that may break.
Their mistake was to launch Apple Maps when it wasn't ready for launch. I hope they never forget that mistake.
The thing is none of those innovations were half assed. Face unlock just used a picture which made sense given it was a single camera. FaceID is brilliant but it does work whether you want it to or not. At least with a fingerprint you have the option of not unlocking your phone.

I'm clutching at straws here, the fact is that Android phones have always been more technologically advanced than iPhones but Apple's integration is often better prepared.

One is not better than the other because there are all sorts of reasons someone chooses a phone.

Apple should support Android on iPhones.
This would be an excellent option for devices, that ran out of support. 🤔
With the last update they should unlock the bootloader.
An iPhone with a $free secure operating system like GrapheneOS would be really extremely cool! 👍 😎

Says Wikipedia ; "In 2025, Cullimore sponsored legislation to ban cities or communities from adding fluoride, a mineral that reduces tooth decay, to public water systems".

Of course he's a "republican".
Many European countries, including Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and France, have banned water fluoridation. Additionally, Israel officially stopped adding fluoride to its water supplies in 2014 due to concerns about health and consumption control. Maybe do some research.

Concerns around excessive fluoride intake are one reason why some countries have chosen not to artificially fluoridate their water supplies – but only because their drinking water already has naturally high levels of fluoride.

We truly are living in the stupidest timeline
Which is worse: a judge stating that Android phones are technologically superior to iPhones (which is partially true given they normally get innovations first) or an entire forum of Apple users, and this is not aimed at yourself seemingly unable to think critically about the statement?

iPhones are better in some ways. Androids are better in some ways. There is no 'best' manufacturer, just the one that aligns with your needs as a customer.

Hahaha. This dude was definitely getting left out of his family group messages. This doesn't have I'm taking my ball and going home energy, it has I have my ball here and everyone else went home energy.

So this guy is up there representing his family. Let’s say there’s 5 so he represents 25%. And he’s pushing law that his family doesn’t agree with.

Yup. Sounds about like how government is run.

This really does feel like "my family and friends 'picked' on me for having a phone with Android and I am going to try and get even"

I had an IT co-worker who always laughed at my iPhone and the inadequecies of the device compared to his. I'd just say it works with my computer platform (designer here) and I like how easy it was and that it "just works" without a need to fiddle (as he would). Perhaps Android OS devices are technologically advanced but, really, mobile phones these days have technology and OS systems that most users don't even reach most of the time. We upgrade, mostly, because it feels right to have a newer device.

It does feel like a waste of time. but his Halloween Idea is interesting in the aspect of making a holiday easier to celebrate.

That poor dad who doesn’t get to be in their group chat…

Mom: ok, who’s going to tell dad little Shawna’s recital changed to next Friday?

….sOmEoNeS tExTiNg…

::stopped texting::

Mom: anyone??…

Sister one: I did it last time! Derick you do it, I did dishes last night!

Brother one: Fine, but you’re hooking me up with Kate ASAP

Mom: hooking?!

Sister two: Moooom, when’s dad getting iPhone? His chats are never any fun I can’t do anything in it.

Mom: Never dear, dad’s an idiot.

Bro one: don’t say that, he’s what I’ll become! Besides, you married him!
