Vaja Case: Turn around time

I ordered my Vaja case the other day.
It states 45 day turn around

How long did it take you guys to get yours?

Date/Time: 2008-07-16

im located in LA do you guys think it will realy take 45days.

Also the email support kinda sucks i have emailed them a few times before and after my order i have had no reply so far.

Hope i am not waiting for nothing.

Please let me know about you experiences with this company.

Ive ordered 3 cases, All have taken over 60 days, one took 92 days...they gave me a 50 dollar gift card because i complained so much though.
 
wow yha thats what is scaring me ..

How did you complain though the sales email?

i couldn't find a phone number or anything

and so far gotten no responce via email

email, i probably emailed them 20 times, i ordered one last October, like end of october and didnt receive it until jan 15th
 
For those of you who have used their cases in the past. Does the front flap get in the way? It seems like that would get in the way when you open the front. I was considering ordering one of these cases as well. Which one did you guys get?
 
I ordered two cases the iVolution SP for me and my wife. We ordered on July 15th. I e-mailed them several times before ordering and once after and heard back with in 24 hours. They seem very nice!

what email did you use the sale@ one ?
i've used that one a few times with my invoice number in the subject and have yet to hear form them.

From what i have heard it flips back realy flat.
I use a bluetooth ear peice mostly so hardly will be putting it to my head.
I like the idea of the front being covered.

I've been useing a sena for the past year one of thouse sideways slip in ones. there products are awsome and the custormer support is even better.
i called them with an issue once and had a new case 2days later.

but my old iphone i have droped 2-3 times in a year and just afraid of doing that to my new 3g.

Praying that the new case will be here sooner than later.
I readly don't understand the whole 45day process
If they wanted to make money they would change that.
I know alot of people who would buy if they do not want to wait.
 
I placed my order for the ivolution SP on 4 July. I emailed Vaja yesterday and they said it's still on course to be shipped next week (my 45 days are up next Monday).

They say it's another 3 days for shipping to UK.

Not sure how long it will take to clear Argentinian and British customs though.
 
I'm just hoping it worth the 45day wait.

I really do not know why they don't premake some specific colors.
Like black on black i would of bought that but since i need to wait did a brownish color mix

Per Vaja customer service:

The order has a production time of 45 days counting from purchase date. You will receive the tracking number after shipping

Demand is huge now and we cannot promise to release it earlier than that.

Like a kid counting down to Christmas this is bad.

I just sent them an email seeing if its on track

My case left Argentina after 46 days in production.

Seems like it will be 45 days or more for production, not less.
 
Been waiting for more than 45 days...

Ordered mine on July 16th, so it has been 48 days now. Kinda thinking of making a complaint or just a firm email to ask them what is going on. I did send them an email last week and got this reply (from Cecilia):

The order is about to enter the last part of the manufacturing process but as soon as it is released from production we will ship it to you immediately . You will receive the tracking number after shipping

Unfortunately, I have already dropped my phone TWICE today! :eek: I don’t think I can hold on for any longer....

The thing that annoys me more is that on their site they have changed their 45 days to 30 days to complete. So, basically, I could have ordered two weeks later to get to the same point as I am now.

I think I am going to explain that I will write an internet review of the case and their service (maybe I will get a ‘goodwill’ gesture...)

I order mine in the 15th of July and I got the same e-mail as you!! We are going out of town this weekend and hope to get the cases by then. I am not going to hold my breath, but a man can hope!

Yha mine was ordered the 16th also.
Have not received a tracking number yet.

i emailed them last week and got a reply saying its on time and should go out next week with and i should get an email with a tracking number.

and low and behold i dropped my phone yesterday.
Good all this time . i was cursing vaja out for taking so long ....
 
Just got fedex confirmation today.
Shipping on the 1st (today i assume)
Estimated delivery is the 3rd..

whoo hoo soon soon..
 
Just got Fedex confirmation today too!

Shipping on the 1st, estimated delivery Sept. 3.

Ordered this July 28. White with yellow stripe. For white 16 Gig iPhone 3G.

Worth the wait! I am sure the rest of you guys will be receiving your own confirmation notices soon too.
