The turret on the left is from Team Fortress 2 while the one on the right is from Portal. So it seems Orange Box is coming to the Mac, which is surprising but wonderful! I have Orange Box on my Xbox and it's great. Portal FTW!

I could write an elaborate response stating my excitement for the news, but that would be redundant.
So I'll just state the following:

Portal will also be ported as hinted in the second image.
I just hope they'll do HL1 as well.

Considering the fact that all these games are based on the Source game engine: if one of the games is ported for Mac, it's only a small step to port other Source games as well.
So I think all Source powered games will be released for Mac.

Marathon 2 Redux, please...the BEST game ever.

The Marathon 2 Remake by Freeverse for Xbox was great! We'll have to see what they are working on post-Halo... I'm pretty sure they don't own the rights to Oni, though I'd love to see a modern version.

That's why I bought Mac, because they always release all their games for Mac. And not 2 years after, but the same day they release game for Windows and Mac.

you bought a mac because blizzard releases games for it at the same time as they release their games for windows? thats a very strange reason to buy a mac.

So, wake up, Mr. Freeman. Wake up and smell the Apple's.

Yay? Sadly, I've already been playing most of their games through Crossover Games. But this is awesome news for the people that can't be bothered to do that...

not only the possibility for some awesome games on the mac side of my hard drive (albeit a while after they were released) but also a charlie and the chocolate factory golden ticket like search for the other 4 images :D

So anyone lucky enough to find a golden ticket?

If they port the entire source engine to Mac that opens SO many windows for game developers. I'm not sure what they're doing about the fact that Mac OSX doesn't have DirectX (switching to OpenGL perhaps?) but if this allows all HL2 mods to be run on both Mac and Windows then instantly there will be a bunch of games ready for the Mac upon the launch of Steam, and it will make Mac game development leagues easier.

I own many of the source games for windows, and I don't care, if they port to Mac and I have to rebuy them, I will! This is great news... Portal was one of my most favorite games of all time.

OH HELL YES. I am inexpressibly excited for this.

If they're porting Source to OS X then we've already got an assload of awesome games ready for Steam. And if they let me download Mac versions of games I already own...

:D

No luck so far, searched google for pages changed in the past 24 hours, with keywords valve and mac, but no results beside macrumors and macnn.
But my guess is they sent the images to major mac news sites, and they will be posted there soon too.

So let's think, which major Mac news sites are there besides MacRumors?
