Hmm... Could that poster have possibly been joking? Just maybe?Well, then I'm afraid that you are one of those Americans who don't recognize humor, irony and sarcasm when they bite them in the butt.

Multi-platform support - Windows, OS X and soon Ubuntu Linux. That alone is something you would NEVER get from Apple.
Don't kid yourself, both companies prioritize windows...
This is mostly because Apple doesn't care about gaming.
'Valve tried to be Blizzard' Hah, Blizzard is owned by a large conglomerate and subject to so much garbage that it is deteriorating in my opinion, granted I still remain a fan. The fact that their titles run better on macs (as opposed to valves titles) is definitely not what makes Blizzard great. Both companies titles run better on PCs.
Valve has not sold its soul.
maybe because we can already run multiplatform on a Mac? dual boot, dude.
Uhm.. it's 2012 dude.. can't pay with your chickens anymore...![]()

Not sure if you're aware but TF2 is one of the most resource intensive games. It will not work on a 2008 MBP, thats for sure. Put it this way. It struggles on my 09 Mac Pro.
Dont blame the developer for your own out of date hardware, in this case.
Fraxis/2K had been steadily improving time between turns up until the release of Gods and Kings. Maybe it is the additional game mechanics that have bogged it down. Spreading religion and improving water tiles cause the game to choke and you are not even between turns!I think Civ5 is generally slow regardless of expansions. I bought the bundle on sale a few months back (via Steam) and once the game gets going it can take 30+ seconds for a turn. Towards the end of the game I'm waiting over a minute! This is on a quad core Mac Pro too! I've seen that others have had the same issue.
It's a great game, just massively flawed by poor planning on the developers side.
The more you know! And this was from my friends that were shocked that I had Steam installed on my MacBook. Two years ago, five percent of steam users were Mac Based... If that figure hasn't changed (doubtful considering the number of Mac games has increased considerably since then), then going by the number of total mac users in the past 48 hours there are 209, 482 people using Steam on OSX.
Doh!
The ignorance is strong in this Mac Fan Boi.

This is for the Mac/PC.![]()
the only reason they are doing this is to try to fight off win 8...
you clearly don't follow steam, gaming or digital distribution news.Yeah, because everybody knows what a big suckcess W8 is going to be.![]()
I wonder if they will require you to "log on steam" to use apps too... Main reason why I simply don't use Steam.
Some developers sell their products so you can use it on as many computers as you own (there are restrictions, but I don't own more than 5 computers), for example, like buying OS X Mountain Lion.
However, buying the same game in Steam simply lock me to only be able to use it on one computer at a time, unless I want to keep logging on both machines and sometimes that is not possible.
Hopefully, Steam will also realize several improvements they can make so their solution becomes a bit more attractive.

Thank god.
I recall reading a few months ago how Steam works on pricing. For indi developers its very similar to the Google Play method where you set your own prices. They dont interviene in any way. They also dont demand that you are exclusive to them.
That's what exactly the App Store does too?
