I'm a little late to this thread, but I must say that the new multiquote button is hella cool! I stumbled upon it one day and was really surprised. Thank you for the upgrade! :)

Haven't noticed this before, but is the multi-upload feature new? I like it!! :)
attachment.php

Nope. It's not a new feature of 3.6.

I do most of my navigating from the Mac Rumors home page, and I've noticed that clicking on the last post in a thread, ie the number in brackets, no longer reliably gets me to the last post in that thread. I've seen this on Firefox2.0 and Safari.

I don't browse that way, so I have no prior experience with it, but it seems like it takes you to the first unread post in the thread. Is that not the way it worked previously?

Actually it takes you to the first post, always has.

It certainly doesn't go to the first post for me. Note that he's talking about clicking on the number of posts in parentheses, not the actual thread title.

Not for me. I'm not talking about the forums here. If I'm at the Mac Rumors home page and I click on the number 2003 on "Apple releases c2d mbp" thread under Mac Rumors articles, it takes me to the first unseen page in that thread, just as WildCowboy spotted. Previously, it would have taken me to post #2003.
Though it is nice that it remembers where I'm up to.

edit.
Forgot to quote MacNut's first reply and can't work out how to retrospectively quote.

It sounds as though you're not logged into the forums when it takes you to the final post in the thread and otherwise, positions you at the first unread, as it's supposed to do.

(If you don't quote originally, you can only do it manually--quote, copy, back, edit, paste.)

You're absolutely right, I only log in when I post, and I've never noticed the different behavior. Thanks for that, and for the advice about quoting.

no the behavior has changed. VB 3.6 changed the behavior of the "lastpost" link - in that it not longer seems to work. So "newpost" is what works... which probably makes more sense but people aren't used to it.

Ok this is an old issue that hasn't changed, When I get a post response email I get a double email.

Don't know if this is because of the upgrade, but right now I get a 'page icon' instead of the rolleyes gif .... it could be that this thread scarred him away!

I dunno if others are getting the same but when not logged on, the forums display strangely. I don't have a screenshot but it almost appears like the first post appears above the advertisements. This has occurred on a few different machines/browsers/platforms. Craziness.
