As far as "randomness" in shipping it makes me wonder if it doesn't prioritize distance over time ordered. Realistically, it makes more sense to send out phones that will take longer to get to the destination to take stress off getting them all to their destination overnight...
That would make sense. If they are mainly coming from Louisville, that's only 5 hours from me.
 
Not trying to be rude but those still holding hope for any 7+ models to arrive tomorrow when your delivery is 09/23 or beyond are wasting time. They won't arrive tomorrow...we get a week to do this all again lol

If the phones dont ship by late thurs\early fri we wont have them fri. Also I have had no movement. Also if you check the flight status there are some planes coming in next week that may have our phones for 9/16 delivery.

Not related to this particular post but I'm too lazy to page back through, you were talking about FedEx delivery options if I remember correctly, now today the "customize delivery" button is no longer greyed out for me, I can click it, but every single option under it is greyed out with the footnote that greyed out options are not applicable to this shipment.
The only thing I can do is leave a note w/delivery instructions or request a vacation hold, suspending all packages to my address.
 
My mom ordered a 32gb matte black 7 plus and she got her tracking number for 9/16 delivery yesterday. She ordered it an hour and a half before launch though, I guess Verizon's website messed up.

See I find Verizon opening the app that early rather irritating. That could be a portion of why people with orders within 10-20 min of preorder start time may not be moving up/shipping. Not only that but when preorders actually started the site wasn't showing the iphone 7/+ as available to purchase at first. Anyway if you ordered at 12:01 PST time, you were already late to the game. I should be getting my phone tomorrow, and I still find that BS.

It should have been 12 pst time so everything is fair game.

There's been quite a few people who originally had a 09/23 date when they ordered, but their cards were charged and their phones are coming tomorrow. Seems like everyone no matter what time they got their pre order in got a date of 09/23.

I ordered the 128GB RG 7 plus and it originally told me 09/16 and my confirmation email said the 16th as well, but when I clicked check order status it gave me the 28th. My card was charged yesterday and my date changed from 09/28 to 09/16. It took about 14 hours for me to get a email saying my phone shipped and a tracking number.

I also ordered a 256GB MB plus and the deliver by date for that like everyone else is 09/23.

I agree, Verizon should of never allowed people to order early. Seems like it messed everything up.

I'm sure your good, my wife decided she wanted to upgrade so having two phones ordered I feel has caused a snag. What will I do about it, nada!

I ordered my wife a RG 128GB 7 right after ordering my 7 plus on a separate order and she got her tracking info on Monday. Hoping tonight we see some movement for silver 128GB 7 plus!

Meant to mention but after getting charged for my iP7+ 128gb Black last night, I got a shipping notification this morning. Should be here tomorrow, but currently sitting at the FedEx hub 10 minutes away! Aaaarrgghh!

i'm 128gb gold. i don't think i've seen any silver or golds officially confirming delivery for tomorrow? can VZW really not be delivering of those colors tomorrow?? so weird...

This might give you some hope about getting your phone tomorrow! I live in the Chicago area and even though my phone will be here tomorrow it's still sitting in a hub in Memphis, TN. So it seems to me like it's getting overnighted so a lot of other phones could be doing the same and you just haven't received confirmation of it yet.

Has anyone actually seen progress soon after trying the FedEx clipboard trick? I just tried it and this is the most information I've gotten so far about my 7+ RG 256gb.
Don't trust that as my phone is being delivered tomorrow and I can still do the clipboard thing with my Verizon confirmation number and get the same results that you are getting. So I'm not so sure about it actually giving you any accurate information at all.
 
I called VZW to ask if my local store has the 128 + Gold tomorrow can I cancel my pre-order but still be okay with the $650 trade-in. At first she told me NO ONE was getting 7plus tomorrow shipped. I mentioned how odd that was seeing as if so many people online have tracking numbers. Then she said, "Well, yea... I guess certain sizes and colors." She said my order says "Backorder" so it's not being worked on since there's no inventory to fill it yet. She also said that she didn't think the store would be able to cancel my order and "fill" it in store since my order is pending and used my upgrade eligibility.

I don't think she had a clue what she was talking about.
