I've escalated mine to Verizon Executive Relations.

The guy that took my order around 2:15am CT butchered it and had to cancel. He was supposed to call me back at 6am after a supervisor cancelled it with the assurance that I wouldn't lose my place in line for ship date.

Never called. Woman that took my order at 6:15am when I called said that she put in a "Jump the Line" form due to this being their error.

Today, Verizon Executive Relations called me back and said that he's looking into it and will keep me updated. Expects to have this resolved if not tonight by tomorrow afternoon. He's in Arizona and leaves at 8:30 CT.

I'll update this when I get an answer.

I'm starting to think Apple underestimated the demand.
I don't think so. The process for making the jet black takes longer so there will be less of them. This is also why it is only available in the 128 and 256 sizes. Apple knows what they are doing they just can't build them fast enough.
 
Well, I got my boxes to send back my old phones to Verizon. Maybe they will ship the new phones out quickly also
 
Wish i could i have used the app. I don't think it works for business customers.

Both phones are in one order so I really don't know if they are shipping together or separately all it gives me is one date for the whole order.

I'm a woman going from a 6 to a 7+ so a little anxious about sizing up as well. But i'm 5'9" tall and wouldn't say i have small hands so hoping i end up really liking the plus size device. anyone i've personally known to have one (men and women) have loved it - haven't heard any of them say they'd go back down to smaller size so i'm going for it. plus i want the dual camera! ;)
im 5ft8, woman and i currently have the 6S plus and ordered the 7 plus...i prefer the larger device and it didn't take me long to adjust..granted i don't carry purses but i haven't had any issues with carrying it in my skinny jeans or in my pockets when I've been on my motorcycle

I don't think they underestimated anything. It's the typical Apple product launch. I love Apple products but they always seem to launch with insufficient quantities. This launch should have been next Friday instead of this Friday since they apparently have scant few pluses ready to go.
 
Anyone else try to look at 'my orders' on Verizon app under 'my devices'?
My of our current iPhones has 'processing' under it.
If I click on line with order # it goes to same screen but at top says 'order details are unavailable, check back later'
If I go back to email and use link, still shows 9/23

I think Apple decided that the Jet Black was 128 & 256 because they wanted it to be a premium offering without having an additional price point. Nobody can spend $199 and get a Jet Black phone, so there is some "prestige" in ordering it. If you see a Jet Black phone, you know it's a step up from the standard automatically.
 
You know that awesome feeling you get when you finally get a shipping notice for your beautiful new phone!? Yeah....me either :( Guess I'll go to bed another night with no update to my status. What ever am I to do with myself ;)But on a serious note, really hoping we see some movement mid week!

That to but there is way more profit margin in the 128 and 256 models.
