Carrier Verizon 7 Plus Ship Yet? Post here...

I'm a woman going from a 6 to a 7+ so a little anxious about sizing up as well. But i'm 5'9" tall and wouldn't say i have small hands so hoping i end up really liking the plus size device. anyone i've personally known to have one (men and women) have loved it - haven't heard any of them say they'd go back down to smaller size so i'm going for it. plus i want the dual camera! ;)

I'm going from a 6s to a 7+. I'm 5'3 and have small hands lol. My husband has a 6s + and when it's in his otterbox case it's hard for me to use, but when it's not I can handle it pretty well. I plan on getting the thinnest case I can find lol

Exact same order and info as me, except I had my order in by 3:06AM EST (2:06AM CST).

I am also transitioning from a 6s to a 7+. I am planning on a thin case, but super excited about the camera and better battery life! I think I'll get used to the size :)

I don't like bulky cases anyway so with this bigger phone, the thinnest case is DEF the plan. lol.

If it was anything like last year you have no chance in hell. I stood in the Verizon line for 3 freaking hours not knowing that Verizon stores did not receive any of the plus models. And don't even bother asking the day before because they won't know or they won't tell you inventory levels. Your best bet is to stand in line at an Apple store on launch day if you want a Plus model. And after launch day it will be near impossible to get a Plus model from Apple because the inventory sells quick. Maybe this year will be different but I'm not betting on it.
I learned my lesson by pre-ordering this year. So even with a ship date of 9/23 it will be no where as bad as last year.

yeah wait in line at the apple store over VZW. bring food and a couple of external battery packs. Its a pretty fun experience

If it's Verizon don't count on it. Unless they tell you the day before that they have inventory you will have to ensure that you're first in line.
 
When the 6 came out my VZW store got 5 of the plus models. i waited in line from midnight and was 7th in line I got what I wanted.
 
Thought I would share my experience so far. I am on the Annual Upgrade plan with device payment.

Pre-ordered three 128GB 7+ models, two in Rose Gold and one in Matte Black.

Tried the midnight PST pre-order, after 15 minutes of not being able to order the iPhone 7 or 7+ (kept giving me the pre-order info screen), went back to bed.

Tried again at 5:00 AM PST and was able to pre-order the two RG 128 7+ online through MyVerizon. Received email confirmations for both after placing my order. 9/16 delivery date when going through the order process and in confirmation email.

The Matte Black 7+ had to be ordered via phone because the 6S+ it is replacing was a warranty replaced through AppleCare (cracked screen) and did not match the original 6S+ in Verizon's online database. Was able to complete my Matte Black 128 7+ order by 6:10 AM PST with a delivery date of 9/28. Confirmation email received after getting off the phone with the VZW rep with same 9/28 delivery date.

Under MyVerizon, all three order are still "Processing" with the two RG models still showing a delivery date of 9/16. The Matte Black version still showing delivery date of 9/28.

When using the "Check Order Status" in the confirmation email(s) all three orders say "Expected Ship Date" of 9/28/16.

No new information provided by VZW since confirmation emails.

Got my confirmation at 9:26 am, right after I placed the order. Estimated delivery date 9/28 for both the email link and the website. Has not changed at all.
At 1:26 pm today, Sep 12, I got an email with the subject line "Your tracking and shipping information". It was for the trade-in box :-(
I don't expect the delivery date to change for me. When I pre-ordered my 6Plus, the original date I was given never changed, which was one week after launch date.

did you do the payment play or pay off the phone right out with 2 year contract??
 
I feel like the fact that no one has gotten a tracking number yet is either a good thing or really bad. Im thinking that they are going to be working through all of the regular 7 orders then move onto the 7+ Or they just have zero stock. when the people with 7+ in rose gold (was in stock the longest) orders start moving then we will be able to tell.

I know but seems very odd that we see no movement at all. Verizon is not communicating anything either. Could this particular model be in that short supply right out of the gate?

It's definitely in short supply. There is some supply though in certain colors. The thing that pushes me into this theory is that none of the iPhone 7+ orders are moving regardless of color. I also remember last year my plus order had no movement until late Wednesday or early Thursday.
 
Still no idea why Silver would be in short supply.. Feel like I'm getting shafted
