Verizon was brutal with my upgrade. I lost count of how many hours I lost on the phone and at the store. I’m still not convinced it is correct. The only reason I went with Verizon was because Apple wasn’t showing the same trade in value on my SE. it started when the blew up my pre order and got worse from there. Which reminds me I have to check on the second phone to make sure that hasn’t changed…. Again

Seeing y’all stories is making me consider not trading in my XS Max in September this year. I know I won’t get much, but it’s better than nothing. I may do this in person at the Apple store, since I’ll be upgrading through Apple from here on out.

In case anyone is getting crap from Verizon, here is a screenshot of the terms and conditions taken directly from their app. Please use this as necessary to justify your claims. Verizon has recently taken the cake for worst customer service in my husehold, so I’m not at all surprised to read that they are tactically going about denying proper claims.

Also, for the avoidance of doubt, the rebate in question is the $200 bring your own device rebate for devices purchased from Apple directly.

Thank you for sharing this screenshot! After my claim was denied, I spoke to a Verizon representative who found that this offering is referenced in Verizon's internal tracking system as OST 354034. The representative submitted an escalation ticket. They suggested that others who may be having a similar issue to call Verizon and reference this info.

I bought an Ipad mini 6 cellular, the only reason I went for cellular is because the promotion, and then I got denied for the rebate. I contact Tmobile on 12/11/2021, they promised me would receive a $200 prepaid card within 7-30 days. Until now nothing shows up, I am communicating with their dumb expert again. Seems like the expert does not even understand a single word of their promotion. What a joke, I will not ever trust any promotion from Tmobile.

They used to be really good with their promotions. Over the last 2 years, I’ve seen more people have issues having their promotions approved.
