Awful. I really don't know what's going on with Verizon lately. They screwed me on my order too. I was given a delivery date 4 weeks into the future. I didn't find out until 3 weeks later that my order was frozen. I would not give them another chance to do that again. Found the phone in a store.
They really need to get their stuff together. It's not acceptable to mess things up on their side and allow their customer to suffer the consequences.
I heard about so many "known issues" during my time trying to get a new Verizon phone. They should try fixing some of these. I still can't port out b/c I have a tablet supposedly incoming that would have extended me to a 2 year contract. They can't tell me when it will ship, nor can they cancel it. They want me to take delivery and then make a trip to the local V store for a return. And yeah LOL at their efforts to keep a customer. One rep offered a nice statement credit, but couldn't apply it. She transferred me to another rep who then refused to do it.
Just wait though.. after I'm gone they'll do all kinds of things to get me back. Right..
Edit: I finally found someone with some knowledge at Verizon. They were able to determine that the iPad device would never ship b/c it was marked as unpaid. Of course it's been paid in full for weeks, so she was able to get the rest of my ordered canceled. Unfortunately, I then received an e-mail stating that since I'd never paid for the iPad, no refund was due... Now I'm trying to get that worked through, though I may just wind up disputing the charge through my credit card company. I was initially excited to get a $300 discount on an iPad, but now I think I've invested more of my time than that and I'm not done yet.
