I guess it is best, if you insist on buying it from them. I walked in another store and walked out with the phone, a day after cancelling with them. They sent me their iphone 6S promo text a couple days ago, so there was no incentive to buy from them, if they'll still give you their trade-in deal afterwards.
What color do you have? I want the rose gold plus so it's best that I place an order.

That's true. I think that a lot of people buy the verzion models because they are unlocked.

Same here. I just ordered two days ago but I'm switching from AT&T and currently using the 6+ so I can wait.

What color do you have? I want the rose gold plus so it's best that I place an order.

I have the 128 GB regular gold 6S Plus. Honestly, I think you have much better odds getting it sooner if you look elsewhere.

Rose Gold is the most common color I've seen. If you check the Apple Store availability throughout the day, they've got Rose Gold popping up daily. The 128 GB is a little less common, but even I've seen that pop up nearby.

I called up the nearby Target about 6 days ago and they had every color in 128 GB. It took less than 15 minutes. I was even able to go back, the day after, and get another one, in a different color.

Then, I know Best Buys all around were supposed to be getting shipments between Wednesday and tomorrow.

If things go right for you, then that makes sense. If my order hadn't gotten jacked up in their system, and I wasn't forced to re-order (get to the back of the line), I'd still be alright with them.

I agree I see some orders that were placed in the preorder time period that shipped later
 
I'm honestly doubting that the 10/12 dates that were pushed to 10/19 will be met. I have a feeling that we are going to get pushed to 10/26. I'm hopeful, but being realistic.

I just checked my order status via that preorder link someone posted on a previous page in this thread and it now says:
"Your order has been sent to warehouse for shipment"

There's a charge to my card, too. No email yet with tracking info, though.

Finally! FYI - I ordered a 64GB 6S plus in rose gold on 9/29. I had an 11/2 expected ship date the entire time.
 
Got my SG 64GB 6s Plus from my local Apple Store yesterday and cancelled my order with Verizon. They were able to do everything exactly the same way had it gone through processing with Verizon, except it actually worked lol. When I called Verizon to cancel, they said that it was likely my card didn't go through (again) since my order was still in "pending" status. I'll likely not go through Verizon directly again because I have a strong feeling I would not have ended up seeing my phone. Apple literally had my transaction processed within moments on site and using the same credit card VZW seemed to have issue with.

Upgrading from a 5s, I am incredibly satisfied and loving the new phone. I hope everyone else has the best of luck with their orders and enjoy their new device as well :)

Mine says the same thing but my expected ship date is a week after yours: 11/9

How did you get your tracking number? My card was charged yesterday, too.
 
Quickest way is to sign up for Verizon's management tool so you see all inbound parcels. Otherwise wait for Verizon to get off their butts and email you. Yeah I know it's automated but it's slow.
 
So, I ordered 2 iPhone 6s Pluses 64gb 1 silver and 1 SG on 9/26. They said ship date was 10/12. On 10/12 that changed to 10/19. On 10/14 the SG shipped and is now at the store. (I ordered from a retailer bc my friend works there) and the silver plus order was canceled. WTF! Now, having to reorder it, ship date says 11/2. Verizon has no clue why it was canceled and couldn't do anything about it but offer me a $25 credit. Anyone else have that issue?

...and today I get a notification that my wife's phone shipped. A day after I got snippy with Verizon. Go figure. LOL

Ok, thanks! I don't see anything yet. I also have FedEx Delivery Manager set up. I should get a text once the package is picked up and on its way.

Since these forum posts provided me with hope, and despair, of when I may receive my phones... I order on 9/27 with expected ship date of 10/12, on 10/12 received the email stating my ship date had been pushed to 10/26, on 10/15 my card was charged, 10/16 received shipping info from Verizon, and the expected delivery date is 10/20. Dare I say, this adventure may soon be over and I'll have no need to return back to this particular thread... well, for at least a year or so ;)

I wasn't able to be at home for my delivery today. I left a note with my name, tracking number, address, phone number, signature, and a written request to leave it with the word "please" but they didn't leave it :c

Ordered 128 SG 6s+ on 10/2. Rec'd estimated 11/2 deliver by date. Just checked status and it's already shipped via FedEx 2 Day, be here on Tuesday! No email from VZW yet.
