I have the same issue with the Apple Pay payment and it couldn’t process on Verizon’s end but they took money out of my account so I don’t understand.

Officially cancelled my pre order with Verizon. Their website sucks. I still cannot update payment information to get the pre-order moving. More time I waste, the later I get the phone.
I found a great deal from Best Buy that offered $450 for my iPhone 11. Paid off the remaining balance I had on the phone and will trade it in to Best Buy. For anyone that has not looked at BB - you should.

I went ahead and ordered from Best Buy as well for an October 30th, store pick up. Kinda ridiculous Verizon had some issue with my Apple Pay when I clearly saw the authorization charge so I thought things were going fine. I couldn't sleep for preorders so I stayed up the night and that time was wasted.
I think it is their website as I've seen multiple users here say the same thing. I too, pre-ordered using my Apple Card through Apple Pay. Ah well. I guess we can wait another week lol
If anything, it gives me more time to decide if I actually want the 12 mini. 😂
Also has the same issue with Apple Pay. Luckily I was able to update mine through the website and still have a ship date of the 23rd. Hope my wife doesn’t have an issue seeing she paid with an Apple Card for her upgrade as well.
I have a question about the order through Best Buy. I didn't receive an order number nor an email after it was placed and was wondering if you received one.

Me as well. So many people at my station are out due to injury or COVID leave that I get a bump everyday ranging from 1.5 hours to 3 hours. I’m a CCA so I asked to work every Sunday to get a day off during the week. I have kids too so it’s been really tough this year. You stay safe as well
I think going forward, those using the Verizon App or even Apple App, should just use a credit card/debit card on file and avoid using Apple Pay just to be on the safe side when preordering again.
Interesting. I used the Verizon app and paid with Apple Pay using a Chase debit card. I think another user had an issue with Apple Pay using Apple Card. I haven’t had my order held up. 🤔

I used my Apple Card. I think that was the main issue.
Crazy thing I saved two different debit cards the day before the preorders open. When ordering, the app said the cards were invalid. Reason for using Apple Pay. Think in the future I’ll use PayPal or another site.

I used PayPal and just shows pending on PayPal’s side site no charge yet from Verizon.

My email says my order was received but not quite ready. Says my Apple Music and Apple news are ready. When I go to the Best Buy site for my order it says pickup on 10/23.
