My beautiful iPhone 12 Pro is on the move. I have a UPS tracking number and it’s in Lebanon, TN with a delivery date of 10/19 but I am sure it will be held until release date 10/23.💙

**Update**
What I thought was my iPhone shipping turned out to be the case.

I'm still talking to them. I cannot update my payment method online either. Keeps erroring out on me. Doesn't matter if I use my computer or the app. I'm glad I'm not the only person having this issue. They said the only thing we can do now is cancel my order and try again. I'm so annoyed.

You are definitely not the only person. Same thing happened with me. Used Apple Card through ApplePay to pre order. Customer reps said they were unable to change the payment method on their end because it is a pre-order. I tried in different browsers across different OS - it is a Verizon issue. I finally got through to someone that said they are aware the site is having an issue and they are working on resolving. For now, that phone is going to stick to being on hold. If not, well, I guess I will try to pick one up this Friday.

Question re: SIM cards. I switched to Verizon from ATT recently so got a new VRZ SIM card for my 11 Pro. To get the full 5G benefit (we have the Ultra Wideband where I live), does anyone know if I can use the same SIM or should I activate the new one that will come in my 12 Pro?

my order was updated to shipped. No date of delivery yet but shipped bud has been checked 🧐😃

Think that's bad, try a 128GB Red iPhone 7: $58 for trade in credit?? I think not! Hello? Swappa? I have a phone for you.
I appreciate the 7/Plus are getting to be older (soon "vintage" ?) models, but they (7's) are selling for $135-199 cash on swappa and even MaxBack offers $98-109.

I also noticed Verizon is charging $40 for "activation". YGBSM. I will likely purchase my family's phones from Apple out of spite for Verizon.

I’m hoping once I order the SIM-free version from Apple, I can avoid the $40 upgrade fee.

They totally waved my activation fee and this was a phone order.
Consider yourself lucky, if the receipt says $0 for activation. Verizon is pushing people to upgrade on their own either through their website or the app. If an employee is involved it’s the full $40. You are the exception not the rule.

What about if I buy SIM-free, insert my current SIM card before I power the phone on?
You might have to call to fight it. The minute it’s activated on their service you will get a charge on your bill. Happened to me last time I bought my iphone outright through Apple. I got the fee on my next bill.

When talking to the rep, i reiterated a terrible experience I had with Verizon the day before. I was on the phone for at least 5hours and with at least 6 different reps. I also mentioned we had 4 lines and have been a long time customer. He said let me message my supervisor. Several minutes later, he told me it was waived.
