Mine says preparing your order. I ordered a Pacific Blue 12 Pro 128gb. However, I did get my return box for me to ship my old phone back. Does this mean anything?

Same for me. I ordered on 10/16 @ 8:10am from Verizon Business Account over the phone and it still says preparing your order. I called yesterday morning and they told me everything is fine on the order and is still scheduled to arrive on Friday. I did not bill to the account and used a credit card. It has not yet been charged. Fingers crossed everything works out for all of us still waiting on news that the phone has shipped.
 
If you have a 10/23 delivery date from preorder relax you’ll get you phone a big influx of movement will be Wednesday and Thursday for 2 day or overnight shipping. You’re all good

Yes, I suspect so since my CC has been charged already. I wasn't really worried.

Also, I might be in the wrong thread. I actually ordered from Apple (Verizon service).

It’s okay that you ordered through Apple. I’m going to order through Apple next month, but have a backup phone with Verizon app open at the same time.
 
Unfortunately I don’t have as positive news as the rest of you. I pre-ordered two 12 Pros through the Verizon app the minute that orders opened. Received a confirmation email and CC charge.

On Monday I received an email saying the order was on hold and I had 7 days to contact them. I called the number and they said that the plan change that I had selected (for 5GUW) was making the order hold because it somehow got put to start on the next bill cycle and the order wouldn’t complete until the plan change went into effect. Had this taken care of and was assured of my 10/23 delivery date.

The next day I received an automated phone message telling me that my order was on hold and need need more information to complete the order. When I called again they said this time that the plan change was still holding up the order and that now it did not show the trade-in on one of our lines to get the $440 credit. So I again took care of this with the representative and wish assured a 10/23 delivery.

Today I again just to double check on the order after seeing it continue to sit on processing and it’s still the same problem. We ended up having to cancel it and I just ordered through Apple. I would say if you haven’t received any other messages from Verizon other than your original order email I would not just assume everything is fine. Our order was not complicated; one iPhone12 pro purchased outright and one iphone12 pro with a trade in (phone is currently on that line).

I'm having second thoughts about waiting for the 12 Max. I'm coming from an XS Max and I'm worried about it being too heavy since it weighs almost a full ounce!

I'm thinking about going for 12 Pro.

I'm worried.

I got mine yesterday. I'm hoping this means the new phones are coming in Friday since we only have 15 days from receipt of the trade in boxes to return it.
 
My 128GB Pacific Blue 12 Pro still says delivery by the 23rd, but no shipping info yet either. Hopefully it'll show up tomorrow for 2-day shipping.

So my phone shipped 128gb pacific blue 12 pro. but my wife's hasn't yet and she preordered at the same time. She also has a date of 10/23 showing for shipping.
 
Has anyone been having issues with Verizon and the iPhone Upgrade Program? I was able to go through Apple and upgrade the Verizon Account Owner's line to the iPhone 12, but when I attempt to upgrade the second line, I get redirected to www.apple.com/shop/sorry/iup_fsi_eligibility_failure with the message "Sorry" and nothing else.

Apple blames Verizon, Verizon blames Apple…

I'm on ATT and switched from ATT Installment Plan to the iPhone Upgrade Program. Mostly because ATT lost my last phone I sent it as part of the Next Up and it was a 6 month battle to reverse the $550 charge. Plus I like going through Apple and being able to pick up the phone and not sit around all day for UPS or Fed EX.

I also updated my parents' phones that were with Verizon. The first one I was able to upgrade through the Apple site through Verizon Installment Plan and pick up Friday in store no problem. The second line I kept getting an error saying this line is not authorized to update through Apple. So I had to order it online through Verizon for a 10/30 delivery.

Not sure why the second line wasn't working but I didn't want to go through the endless blame game reaching out to Verizon or Apple directly. Here's hoping the one comes for delivery Friday and 10/30 is just a safe placeholder.Screen Shot 2020-10-20 at 5.40.56 PM.png
 
I have a shipping notification on my 12 pro graphite model, however my wife's pacific blue model doesn't have any movement yet. Looking forward to Friday!

Ordered a Graphite 256GB 12 Pro on 10/16, delivery scheduled for 10/23 but Verizon still says "We're preparing your order". Getting a little nervous since I'm seeing others' phones start shipping out so hopefully I get tracking info by sometime tomorrow. However checking the order status every hour probably doesn't help my case much either😅

So I got a text message that the order I placed on 10/16 was received on 10/20/2020.
"Verizon Msg: Your order #xxxxxxx was received on 10/20/2020. You'll receive a text message with tracking information when your order ships."
 
I just got a text message saying they had received my order 10/20. I placed my order minutes after the preorder opened on 10/16. I checked my AmEx card and they had charged me for it, and the order status still says preparing and ETA 10/23. I think it's going to arrive on time.
 
I ordered the 12 Pro Gold 128 gig. Big upgrade coming from XS Max 64 gig. I’m so excited for more space! I was going to wait for the Max but the extra weight was a deal breaker.

my ship date is 11/18 for now
