Yep, same here. When I attempt on the website though, it only gives me the option to pay full retail, no device payment option. I feel like something is still being held up in the system causing the error. I’m just going to open a new line, transfer the balance to my line, then close the line.

I thought about that, especially to get that BOGO deal. How long do you have to wait to transfer and get all that done?

When I went back into the  I got the same message. Let me know what you find out.

Just finished talking to them. Looks like for me its because I'm using an old iPhone SE that isn't supported under Verizon so I have to pre-order through the site. No biggie.
 
I closed my app and went back in. Cart isn’t showing. I added a random case to my cart and only the case showed, so that’s pretty lame. Funny because them holding something in my cart has never been an issue when I don’t actually want it there anymore.

I went to my iPad and did the same steps. Looks like it is holding in the cart now. I have this on the iPad app and my iPhone here.

Well I currently have an iPhone 11 Pro, wanting to upgrade to the 12 Pro Max. Even though I can trade in m current device for an upgrade since I have paid off 50%, it says in the app that I am unable to do so. Weird.

Getting an error message on my app saying im not eligible to upgrade which isn't fun lmao. Going to contact support and see what's up.
I got the same error but it let me okay some message and add it to my cart saying upgrade ready

it also said i only had $5 device dollars instead of $90?

Mine said $5 and I have $130. I had problems using my device dollars last year, so I’m not counting on them to work properly this year either.

I'm not sure how long, probably not long after you get the phone and activate it. I'd be careful about trying that with a promo. I'm sure if you cancel the line, it will be void.
 
Ok, so my cart disappeared again, but I’m still able to start another order.

It’s these sort of shenanigans that have me ordering with Apple. This could be a great process, but Verizon just can’t get it together, lol.

Yeah that’s what I was getting. It says I can upgrade early I click on it and it takes me to a page saying I need to pay the remaining balance off when I’m more than halfway.
 
That's not what it means. The phones listed are the ones that CAN be upgraded.
Devices eligible to participate in Annual Upgrade Program:

  • iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro
  • Samsung Galaxy S10 – 5G version only if purchased before 10/13/20
  • iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max if purchased before 10/15/20.
  • iPhone® XS, iPhone XS Max, and iPhone XR if purchased before 9/12/19.
Doesn't say the iPhone 12 Pro Max
 
I chatted with a rep in the Verizon app. I told them specifically what I was reading here on the forums lol. They said that they had something like this setup for the iPhone 12 Pro pre-order but that they are not doing it for the Max. Who knows, you know how VZW CSR's can be. He basically told me that he or I was not able to do anything until 8am tomorrow.
