I still don't understand how UPS logistics work. My 12 shipped from CA, is now in KY only to come back to CA for it's final destination... talk about unnecessary use of resources. I mean as long as it gets to me in time.

Uh, okay. Wow!

All four of my shipments were picked up by FedEx in Indianapolis, IN this year en route to California.

Max 256 PB and Max 256 Gold.
ordered placed through Verizon website at 8:38 EST
Shipment is in Fresno, CA
Destination Tampa Bay

Does anyone that is shipping to an APO have a shipment update yet? Mine still says processing 🥺🥺🥺
I'm not shipping to an APO, however, I have shipments from Verizon in my FedEx account. Which were picked up yesterday and again today, I'm yet to see any update from Verizon. The orders are still "processing" on their end.

I ordered a Graphite Max 256 at 12:45p (Eastern). I can see the FEDEX shipping label was created a couple hours. It's getting close!

I once saw a Youtube video on this subject, can't find right now, but it pretty much was saying how these two HUGE hubs are usually cheaper to move an item to by air then back on a fully loaded plane back to a different destination in your state. Doesn't make much since to use, but when you factor in all the mathmatics and algorithims of these companies, maybe we'd care less.

Does anyone know how long it takes for your annual upgrade to show again after you cancel a pre order? Same for device dollars.

Updated cut & paste of my earlier post:

Ordered 2ea 12 Pro's on Oct 16th, 1ea Blue 256 and 1ea Gold 128. Ordered through Verizon at wireless kiosk at local Costco.
Original estimate showed 2 week lead time, sales suggested it would likely arrive within the next week.

Package was actually picked up by FedEx in Fresno 11/04.
Package was out for delivery 11/06 but went back to depot that evening with no projected delivery.
Package went out today (11/09) but went back to depot with no projected delivery. Delivery was later updated to Tuesday (Tomorrow) where the same thing will happen again as no changes have been made.

I called "Wireless Advocates" and asked what is going on. They basically stated that it wil arrive some time, give FedEx a call if you like. I reminded them that FedEx is their vendor, not mine and this is their mess to fix. After denying they have any method of communicating with FedEx he turned it over to another sales associate to call FedEx in the morning. I'm only guessing that won't happen.

Just to make this fun - Who thinks FedEx is stuck in a do-loop and my phones will eventually be returned to Fresno or stolen?

We'll eventually have a couple new phones. 2020? 2021? iPhone 13? Hold out for USB-C?

Fusseduppedly yours,
CLB
