Did Verizon add an "R" to anyones address, what did yall do to fix it
Yep. I went on the app in a chat to tell them it looked like there was an error. The chat agent said she saw that too but pulled the order and confirmed the address on the actual order/shipping information was correct. The address on the UPS tracking info is correct so 🤞🏾🤞🏾
 
Anyone know if you can drop off your trade at Verizon directly? I got the empty box today, just curious - thanks!
I have done that in the past, but yesterday I went to the store and asked, and they said you have to mail it.
 
Well my iPhone has officially departed Indianapolis. iPhone 13 Pro Max Graphite base model ordered at 5:01am

Just to add a data point, my order has the right address in the Verizon email that had the tracking info. In the original order and in the app (which has not updated to shipping/tracking) it shows my address with an R after the street name so we’re golden!

Same here with the R only in the app, the only thing that’s worrying me is that my package isn’t showing up in ups my choice at all, I’ve had it set up for a few years now so not sure what’s going on there…
 
I ordered a little later than usual this year at 7:28am PST. Graphite 13 Pro Max 512.
Any others with around T+2hrs orders getting movement? Still have a 24th delivery date.
 
And they charged my card $15 over the original “pending” amount. This is why things get screwed up, they can’t get their billing straight.
I used my debit card to pay the amount I owed on my iPhone 12 still plus the activation fees and a couple days later I was checking my bank account and they refunded the original amount and charged my account again for $3 more so I contacted them on chat and they have no record of the second charge so they’re crediting me the $3. I just don’t understand how they can charge customers willy nilly and have no paper trail of the charges. Also I had $45 device dollars I used and they charged me that as a “down payment” and said it would get credited back to my account at some point. What’s the point of even charging me for that why not just take it off the sale price. Makes no sense
 
Curious for anyone who is trading in their 12 for the early trade in program. Are you receiving a separate box for trade in? In the past I've received the kit/label and phone together, at least from what I can remember. I haven't gotten a kit in the mail and my phone is expected tomorrow...

On that note if a trade in kit gets lost/doesn't get delivered, is it relatively straight forward/quick to get a new one?

In my experience, the return packing always came with the new phone.
 
I ordered two 13 pro max 128g on the 17. My graphite shipped days ago, but the gold version has yet to ship. They’re both supposed to arrive by the 24 per the order confirmation. Cutting it real close, getting worried. Anyone else in a similar boat?

I was in the same boat as you yesterday. A TON of folks here are as well. I received my tracking number late yesterday. A few of my IRL friends received theirs early this AM.

My charger had everything right except that instead of Ave there was an R for my address. So FedEx said that address didn’t exist and sent it back from the hub. Their system was looking for 1234 Oak Road instead of 1234 Oak Ave.

Indeed, this is simply an app error.

They charged me $15 more than the previous pending charge, looks like it went through. Don’t care about the $15 right now, I’ll call them and get reimbursed once I receive the phone. The issue is if my bank declined the charge then it really gets screwed up. Been down this road before.

Is it safe to assume that the lack of any more detailed tracking info should not be cause for concern?
 
My "cancelled" ipad still shows in my Verizon account on the web but not on the app, now also with a payment method issue (lady yesterday insisted it would be fine, I insisted it would not, knew I'd be right on that one)

I checked the Apple site on my laptop and I do see great discounts for my 2016 SE, but they don't appear on Safari on my phone (Apple Store app no longer works on iOS 12). Ship dates are past October 1, but I either can't select "pickup in store" or I didn't continue far enough in the process.

So perhaps I will visit Apple today. Because what's another hour wasted to this Verizon fiasco? :rolleyes:

Best part is, all the phone/ipad/plan costs are still showing in my next months bill but I'll give that another couple of days to shake out. They have agreed to give me a credit for the hassle but honestly nothing seems to ease the annoyance of piss poor programming.

Wtf the exact same thing happens to me. They said the order is fine but the debit from Verizon is completely gone from my bank account.

Mine says the exact same thing but I’m in SoCal so not too worried. I’m surprised it didn’t move last night though because I’m expecting it for delivery tomorrow. As others have said though they may ship these overnight.

I told her it was a no brained to order it because she’s only be paying $13 a month for the phone. Scheduled delivery is October 8th. Hopefully sooner.
