Thanks! It seemed that there were better trade-ins through Verizon, but I think they are just throwing numbers around depending on what you order 🤷‍♀️
Verizon direct was better at first, but Apple has since updated their listing to reflect the correct Verizon trade-in values. Very annoying since they did that after I already placed my order.

Obviously after I did too. For that matter, I couldn't even get the same deal on Verizon's site last Friday, which is why I went in person. Silly me, thinking that would be the most solid way of doing it!

<edit> Apple still doesn't show a trade in for the original SE, which is what Verizon gave me. And today she threw out another higher trade in number, but that changes the plan. It all comes out the same in the end.
 
Received my tracking # for my 1TB Pro Max Gold. My wife's 256 Pro Max Graphite is already in our state, chilling at our local distro facility until tomorrow. I luckily know the operations manager for that specific distro center, and have already contacted her about picking it up when they open Friday morning. My 1TB Pro Max gold however, is being shipped via FedEx which has been, for the past 4 years, the method in which my specific phone has been delivered.

Weird, but I'll take it!

Does changing to UPS Store pickup guarantee they'll have it early in the day? Would love to pick it up before work
This would likely delay picking up until Saturday or Monday. Most carriers require one failed delivery attempt before you can change the address. And even then Verizon would have to initiate as they are the shipper. Just my past experience (with other shipments, not iPhone) so it may have changed. One thing I have learned from reading these forums almost yearly is the worst thing you could do is start messing with delivery info because that causes delays. Just let it ride and accept it.
 
So my Pro Max 512 Graphite finally shipped by why does it say it only weighs 1.2 pounds? My dad ordered the same iPhone but 128GB and his is 2 pounds? We both didn’t do any trade ins or anything?

I ordered a 13 Pro Mac 256 graphite on the 17th. Still says delivery scheduled for the 24th but my card hasn’t been charged and no shipping info. I chatted with Verizon rep and they said it’s back ordered and won’t ship UNTIL the 24th. I don’t know who to believe.

That’s BS what they’re telling you. All they see on their end is expected ship date is the 24th
 
I preorder from Verizon an iPhone 13 pro 256gb last Friday. I also ordered a case, a screen protector, and a magsafe charger. On tuesday this week I got an email that said that all 4 items shipped and would be delivered yesterday Via UPS. Yesterday I received the box, which I was excited about as I thought WOW I am going to get my new phone 2 days early. Well, I opened the box and No phone. also they sent me case and screen protector for an iPhone pro max…. so now my online account shows that all 4 items were delivered.… I contracted via the chat and they assure me that The phone will be sent for Friday… do I trust them?

Calling Verizon is waste of time. Your shipment will arrive on time barring any billing hiccups. The most annoying thing is lack of updates on website. Heck I’ve received my phone and on website it would still show in process.

Just hung up with a rude representative from Verizon who told me it’s not going to ship till Friday. I don’t think she knows what she is talking about. Very frustrating. I ordered it as soon as it went on sale last Friday. Guess I should not have ordered the 1TB

Lol. Why did you call them? You’ll talk to a grunt that knows nothing and has no way of finding out anything. Waste of time.

To be fair my other phone order on apple hasn’t updated or changed. But my ups app shows it (Shipped 9/19 and currently in Louisville). Haven’t received a thing from apple about any tracking info. It still says preparing for shipment.

Absolutely. I’m honestly ok if it shows up late, I just want to know the whole story! I feel like I have to babysit the whole thing. Is there a billing issue preventing it from shipping? Is that why I haven’t seen the charge on my card? Who knows!!! Just have to wait and hope.

Bingo. This happens all the time. SO many people here are needlessly freaking out.
 
My phone went to date pending yesterday, this morning the Apple Pay finally cleared and now several hours later I finally have the long awaited your phone has shipped email from Verizon.
 
Not sure if this means anything, but the line on my account that I used for the upgrade , the “upgrade now” went away and it shows 1599 as the price I have to pay off instead of upgrade now

Mine did the same, still shows the old phone but updated to the new payment plan. Also, my estimated delivery date went away and is now pending delivery date.

And they charged my card $15 over the original “pending” amount. This is why things get screwed up, they can’t get their billing straight.
