The iPad that I never ordered, the one no one could see or cancel, the one that needed payment info that I was told if I did not give would fall off my account, the one that shipped despite me not giving any payment info, the one the rep told me she would most certainly intercept on Monday..... is indeed in my state heading towards me. 🤦‍♀️

This process could be an entire sitcom season if it hadn't cost me so much time in getting resolved!

In other news, I do like my Mini!
 
Where do you see "In Stock" Pro max ?

They had them in stock yesterday -- they said "free 2-day delivery" with no backorder note, so I assumed they were in stock. I told a co-worker about it, and he ordered a Silver Pro 256GB and a Blue PM 512GB that are being delivered tomorrow. Saw him this morning, and he said he already got tracking info -- UPS for one phone and FedEx for the other.

All other years the smallest memory one is loaded with stock.
this year I order 256 and back order, I go for the 128 pM in blue and back ordered

I placed my order September 29th for the 13 pro max 512gb in graphite. When shopping it showed ETA Oct 22nd. But after I placed the order on my order status page it never gave me an ETA. Just said it would update soon. This morning I woke up and got an email from Verizon with tracking. It shipped today and I'll be getting it Friday the 8th. That's pretty early! I haven't had a iPhone since the 6S plus. Have had Samsung Notes. I skipped the note 20 so I have the Note 10 plus 512gb. Since they aren't making a note this year and I really need a new phone cause my battery is so degraded I figured I'd give an iPhone a try again.

Ordered on the 23 two - Pro and Pro Max. Order said ship on Oct 8th. Haven't heard anything since then. Status has shown processing since the beginning. I hope it ships on time

That sucks. From what I've been hearing the most delayed are the 128gb models. Some people have been getting emails from Verizon pushing their ETA back even further than what it said when they first ordered. I heard the 256gb models are also behind. And I've noticed the 512gb models have been shipping earlier than expected. Not sure about the 1tb models. As far as the 1tb models, I think Apple isn't making as many of them and thats why they're backordered. I would like to see the numbers on all the models sold. I bet the regular 13 pro 128gb is the most sold.
 
look like all 512GB color are in stock... seem everyone want 128GB and 256GB which is in back order.
 
Yeah I just checked and the 512gb pro Max's are in stock. No wonder why mine shipped so early. I thought I would get mine earlier cause up until they were in stock today the one I ordered had the same ETA as when I ordered it.

I received a "ship your device back soon." Email on Saturday, shortly after UPS picked up my iPhone 12 Pro Max 512GB Graphite for an estimated trade-in value of $655.

It's "late" Wednesday night and the tracking information shows no further activity since it was picked up at 1:44 PM PDT Saturday. I left town early Saturday for Utah and New Mexico. I should have just brought it with me to NM and had UPS pick it up from there.

I called Verizon to inform them of the situation and they said as long as they receive it by October 18, 2021, I will receive my full trade in estimate. Not exactly why I called, but since they said that on the recorded call if I receive anything less they'll be hearing from me again.

Unfortunately, it looks like Rory has once again lost all service on his iPhone 13 Pro Max. He told me it was totally random because he hadn't spoken to Verizon today. He was expecting a call back tomorrow!

BTW I’ve gotten at least 3 different trade in numbers on my SE(2016), $200, $350 and $700. I think my receipt shows nearly $600. This has been a cluster of epic proportions

I got the email and tracking info on my 128 pro max blue today , really nice 👍 as I had oct 8 ship dates on both.

I have to say the pro screen is perfect white, not red or blue or trash yellow
Hope my max is the same.

Verizon just called to tell me, UPS delivered my "lost" iPhone at 10:41 EST and here I was thinking it wouldn't get resolved until next year.

Hopefully you're resolved now!

So I refused delivery of that iPad yesterday. It went back to the main hub about 20 miles from me (last night). It's now back in my town at a Walgreens (not in the best part of town) waiting for recipient pickup??? I can't believe this. So my next call after godaddy. Good grief

My wife's 13 pro max came about 10:00 today - my 13 pro (ordered at same time) won't be here until Monday - wrong order folks.
Took a long time with a Verizon support person to get hers activated. Guy also told us that iCloud gives you all your data same as phone to phone and Finder backup - so he wasn't so Apple knowledgeable . fortunately my wife doesn't have many apps etc on phone. See how mine goes Monday.
Shipping notice said Sims were included so that answered that question.

Rory finally got dual eSIM activated yesterday! He called Verizon as soon as they opened to figure out what happened and said all they did was send a SIM swap verification to another number on his account and both lines reactivated immediately on the new iPhone.

He's still waiting for that call back...

Your wife received a physical SIM, and it was still difficult to activate? At this point, I shouldn't be surprised. I really shouldn't. It took 9 days for Verizon to activate Rory's iPhone correctly. He received an iPhone 13 Pro Max without a physical SIM.

Verizon was adamant dual eSIM was impossible. Obviously not!

I switched email hosts but thought my domain was locked so I couldn't change DNS. Not the case, when I clicked on the area to change dns, I had to scroll allllll the way down though a bunch of other info on the account. So that was less painful than I thought - and WAY less painful than Verizon 🤦‍♀️

Yep, Fedex turned that iPad right back around and sent it to Walgreens for me to pick up. They never told me that though, I just happened to check tracking and saw it. Finally it says it was picked up from Walgreens this morning. It's supposed to be at the sender Tuesday, I just want to see it leave my state! Fedex guy was really nice, but I nearly died when he said "It's no big deal I can fix this" and I'm saying "you really don't get this" (he really didn't, nor did I explain it)

HOLD THE PRESSES!!!! My bill.... someone managed to fix something!! That second iPad is gone and my next bill and the following are more in line with what I'd expected. I still have to check my discounts but holy crap on a cracker (as Penny would say) - I think my three weeks of Verizon Hell on Steroids may be coming to a close. <knocking on all available wood> I'm not seeing any "loyalty discounts" but I'll cross that bridge at some point.
 
My 13 pro max 128 blue came yesterday, BUT FedEx came 15 minutes before I got home so I called 10 minutes after they tried to deliver and the automated system they will redeliver, that never ever happened, I called and spoke to a rep and they said not till Monday now, I was fuming 😡 as apparently FedEx does not give a rats a$$ on what the driver is doing and what the computer says, as I made like 6 phone calls to FedEx to make sure they are coming back and they never did!!!
So I went to the fed ex location where it was locally located and picked it up with no problems even after the 1800 FedEx person said I could not!!!

I really hate fedex !! Not the first time either

but very happy with the phone, both my phones activated with no problems and perfect screen color on both !!

Where is the 5g ??

I ordered a 256 GB Sierra Blue and 256GB Gold 13 Pro Max on September 25 over the phone with Verizon Customer service. Both back ordered, the Blue was expected Oct 15th, the Gold on the 21st. Kept checking the My Verizon app and it kept saying order processing so I stopped checking. Today I checked and it said both orders shipped expecting delivery Tuesday October 12th. I did not get an email notification or anything so just keep checking the My Verizon App.

GoDaddy has never had the most organized or understandable tools. They probably buy some of them from the same company as Verizon.

I honestly don't think I've ever seen that happen before. At least FedEx was able to correct the situation quickly once they were made aware of the problem.

Hmm. Personally, I would always pay for shipping if it meant I could have FedEx deliver everything.

Coverage Maps... They aren't always accurate!

"despite what the coverage map says you may not actually get service in certain places, for example Rory Sykes has complete service coverage (3G, 4G LTE, 5G Nationwide, 5G Ultra Wideband) at his home according to the Verizon coverage map when in fact he has none."

As for 5G UW specifically, from what I understand and have experienced, 5G UW has an incredibly small range and little things such as a slight breeze can affect connectivity. So you might have 5G UW in your area, but you may never actually connect to it.

As I said earlier, Verizon's website and app aren't always accurate, unfortunately. My iPhone 13 Pro Max was delivered on Friday, October 1, 2021 and the website still says "Your order is on hold until you take action." and when I spoke to Verizon on Saturday, October 2, 2021 I was told "Your order is still processing. You will receive your device when we are ready!"
