Carrier Verizon iPhone 16/Plus/Pro/Pro Max US Pre-Orders, Orders, and Delivery Status Thread (2024)

Nothing for me. Ordered the 16 PM 256gb black through Verizon the afternoon of pre order and it locked in for an Oct 4th delivery. Odd that mine is so far out.
 
Today has come and almost gone and still no tracking info on my order despite being “assured” my phones would be delivered today. Just for laughs I contacted Verizon again. 6 reps later was told the phones would be here within 24 hours and tracking info would be sent to me in 4 hours. Zero confidence any of that will be happening but its almost comical at this point the stuff they say.
 
I got totally verizon'd. After being told by 4 or 5 different reps at various times the past 2 weeks the phone would be delivered on 9/20 and then 9/25 and then today, I called today and for the first time was told my order was voided at some point and never went through. I was told I would have to place a new order and get back in line with a new estimated delivery date of 10/11. Told the rep to forget it and just cancel the order totally.

Guess I will try to order directly from Apple or pick up in a store somewhere. Verizon's customer service was so atrocious the last 2 weeks I am hesitating on making the switch but T-mobile coverage is so bad where I live.

I now have a tracking number. 2 day shipping.

I also ordered a 16 PM 256gb in black on 13 Sep and got a estimated arrival date of 4 Oct. Just got a tracking number as well but no delivery date yet, it still says "shipment Ready for UPS". How about yours?
 
For anyone that had to return their phones and paid the 50% did you receive the return label? VZ still hasn’t sent one yet and I don’t want to be charged in full for it.

If you have the Verizon app, you can go to Orders, then Trade Ins and it’ll give you an option to print the label, bring to the UPS store or bring to Verizon.

I don’t even see the trade in option. I’ll just call them this week.
 
If I do Verizon's trade up offer of up to $1000 It seems I have to to pay for the phone monthly for 3 years. Can I just use the credit and then pay it off?

Yes that's how this up to $1000.00 offer works. They post credits to your account monthly for 36 months. You don't just get a $1000 credit. You can pay off the phone at any time but then you don't get the remaining credits.

Nothing is free...

So anything we’ve ordered from Verizon since switching came thru FedEx.

My wife’s 16PM is coming through UPS. However it doesn’t say Verizon but rather “Lonestar FWD Dfill Air”

I assume that’s basically Verizon’s allotment from Apple or something?

So I picked up the 16 Pro 512 GB as they did not have any pro max's in stock at the Verizon corporate store I went to (this was back on 9/26/24). Today I decided that the 16 Pro was not for me and decided to do a return & exchange (yes, I had to pay restock fee at verizon), so I had them order 16 pro max 512 gb Black and still retain the trade in credit. It shipped today and will be delivered on 10/22/24.

My only question is since Verizon shipped the phone via UPS, any problems? Signature required? Thankfully, I am off this coming tuesday so I'll be home all day. Does the UPS follow my delivery work?

Anyone with a White Titanium 256 GB model who has a 11/8 ship by date got any bump up in back order date? I had ordered one for my mother was hoping she would get sooner?
 
I have another Out For Delivery. The first phone was stolen by someone at UPS. I received and empty, retaped, box.

This one was delayed yesterday. I got a Delivery Exception email saying "Sortation error" and went about two hours in the wrong direction. This was after it got to the local hub about 20 miles from my house.

I have a really bad feeling about this.

Stolen sorry to hear that I will say the iPad that we got for my mom could possibly be stolen as they tried to deliver it to the wrong address with FedEx, hoping it is delivered to the right address today. Fingers crossed, but again sorry to hear that.
 
UPS just delivered my iPhone 16 Pro Max 512 gb Black, No ploblem here. I was anxious all day for fear of being stolen or showing up with a rock. setting it up as I speak.

Are there any models shipping quicker than others? I was hoping to get 16 Pro 1TB Black by thanksgiving but can change if another model ships quicker
