Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I bought a 64GB White. I live in eastern PA.

There may be a delay with the 64GB white and maybe even black at some locations.

I called and they said It will be charged and shipped on the 19th.

Nope... Nothing. Spoke to Vz twice and they said I probably won't get charged until Wednesday or Thursday. But they assured me that my phone will be delivered on Friday.

I'm getting jealous that everyone else is getting their shipping notices....

Has anyone with W779001 gotten any new information on their shipment? I ordered 2 64gb iPhones and i still havent gotten charged

Anybody have a status other than "we have received you order....."? Mostly in the Virginia area and surrounding. Starting to worry and hae not seen any activity.

Hi again, I'm still waiting. Maryland, DC metro area, no action. I ordered at 3:16am, but had a glitch, a hold was on my credit app. I was on hold an hour, but order was pushed through and I have been assured by 3 different reps my phones will arrive on Friday. I am doubtful, because my order status says 9/26/12. I'm leaving town for two weeks on 9/25, so I'm worried. Not much I can do at this point.

Ordered by Black 64GB at 7:30 am. Haven't seen any movement from verizon or on my credit card. Claims delivery or shipment on 9/21 depending on if I go by the email or the tracking site.

Nope. I'm same area, Southern California. No CC charge, no second email, order # still doesn't work.

I do know that some people from W779001 have already gotten charged though

My story:

Pre-ordered on Verizon.com at around 3:35 am est.

Credit card charged yesterday

Website said processing from N215501

Got email today at 12:59 pm saying that it was being processed. It included the tracking number and stuff.

It has moved a few locations in the tracking. Mine says that it has future delivery requested guess I'm waiting until Friday!

I switched to Verizon from AT&T. Ordered 3 iPhones. Black 32, white 32, and white 16. In Texas and I ordered 30 minutes after preorders started.

I ordered a black 64gb at 3:57am on the 14th. It still says online that the order is being processed and my payment has not been taken yet. My location is D772101 and my order number is 68501. I called Verizon and they said that my credit card has been approved and the phone is now being prepped for shipping. I also have a receipt. Anyone else in the same boat as me?


I did just see the post that there is a delay with the 64gbs! so that explains it

Haha and mine says it arrived at 8:09am I won't get mine tell the 21st. Weird how people times are a lot later then mine but there Delivery date is the 19th or 20th

Hey guys, just saw this thread and registered with MacRumors. I have the order location: D772001. I live in Northern VA, and Verizon did send me a tracking number through e-mail around 1:00 p.m. eastern. The tracking # is with Fedex and it says my iPhone is in West Chester, PA right now.

Also I placed my order around 3:20 A.M. Eastern Friday morning.

Got confirmation from this location early this AM with a tracking number. Mine shows to be in Memphis, TN.
