Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I called the internet sales dept at Verizon yesterday just to confirm that everything is good with my order. They replied that everything checked out fine and that I should be getting a tracking number on Wednesday, but to my surprise, I got it today (9/18 at 1:00 p.m.).

My credit card account was also charged the full amount. I didn't get a pre-authorization charge of $1.00. The full amount was charged and approved.

One thing we do know is that for all Friday deliveries, orders has to be processed by VZW by 4 pm tomorrow. This info per VZW today around 11:30 am EST
 
Just got my shipping confirmation. Picked up today in Memphis TN. I'm in Orange County california. Delivery on 21st before 3pm.
 
So just FYI. I ordered 2 white 32gb and 1 white 64gb. Some rumors are that the 64gb is what is holding me up. What did the rest of you order?

Im guessing the reason mine hasn't shipped is because I ordered the 64gb iPhone. Hopefully something changes and i get charged already

Verizon pre-order location 1456901

I was curious what various locations are encompassed withing this number. I'm in southern Nashville, Tn.

Very close. I ordered a black 64Gb at 2:16AM Central. My card has been charged and my order status says Your order has been sent for processing. My ACE Order Location is 1526901.

What's this about a delay in the 64Gb version?

Finally movement !!!!!!!!!!

My staus has finally changed sent for processing and card has charge I'm so excited just got to wait for the email now!!!!!!!!!

Just got my 2 emails with working tracking numbers. Same as tge rest Memphis. 32gb white and 64gb black

Charged my card this evening around 7:30. Status changed to "Order has been sent for processing". No email yet.

Yes, you pay $50 and you get a new iPhone. I think $150 is a lot cheaper for a new iPhone if you've damaged your old one beyond use rather than paying what Verizon will charge you.

The $50 is only for accidental. If the home button stops working (ie a warranty issue) you don't pay. Drop it in water and you do.
