Has anybody else's expected ship date get pushed back to 9/20/2012 after shipment?

Yep. That's my location, too, and I got an email around 2:30 pm EST letting me know the tracking number and the package location (Memphis, TN).

Yep thats my location too. Got email from Fedex around 8:00 am.

think about it. overjoyed apple fanatics flooding forums/blogs. building to hype and hysteria. people rushing out to stores to get in lines to join in...

besides i think it happens every year. people post of getting early. everyone getting all antsy checking emails etc.

Mine says expected ship date 9/20. On the verizon website.

Verizon page says SHIP date, as when it ships out, not DELIVER, as when the FEDEX guy knocks on your door.

My wife and I ordered our phones but our delivery date was set for Sept 26th. Has anybody seen there orders move forward from this date? Also is this date the date it will ship or the date I should get the phone?

Well I didn't order mine until around 5:20am CST. I got shipping confirmation this morning at 6:17am. Package is in Memphis showing 21st as delivery date. I was hoping to get lucking and get it early, but the same happened when I preordered my iphone 4 2 years ago, arrived on launch date.

Ordered 3 iPhones at 3:24am. No shipment info or preauthorization charges. I was emailed the confirmation shortly after ordering but no action since then.

Still showing delivery 9/21

What is going to be interesting is if they start leaving the Memphis site again. Mine usually depart later for Dallas/Fort Worth. If it doesn't then it will be Friday delivery.

My order is identical but it says the estimated delivery is the 21st. Although if it is standard overnight shipping and it leaves Memphis tomorrow it will be here on the 20th.
