meee too!!! under status it says: "Your order will ship by 9/21"... no tracking number or anything. Wierd. I'll try back in an hour and see what's changed.
just called Verizon again but this time used the automated order status checker and it said that my order has been shipped but when I push "2" for the tracking number it just says that my order has been received. I wish Verizon was as good as Apple about keeping you up to date on your order status. I won't order with Verizon again.

I ordered at about 3AM Central at VZW after I couldn't get my order for my wife's phone in at Apple.com. Seems that VZ and Apple don't talk well when you try to put in 2 phones on new lines on the same order.
So it shipped early this morning from Memphis to Memphis. The status says delay requested - assuming its going to be stuck in the same 'hold till 9/21' policy Apple is enforcing with its orders via UPS.
The irony is that this order - taken about 10 minutes after I gave up on phone #2 at apple.com - is going to beat my apple.com order by a wide margin. Its still stuck at 'processing.'

Same here. Mine is blank now. I just checked my Amex card and there is a charge for the iPhone now that wasn't there 2 hours ago...
It just seems odd though that most people have had at least something show on their credit card by now or even got their tracking number already.
Ok makes me feel better I'm not the only one. Maybe tracking numbers coming our way? I'm in western Massachusetts.

Well...some people may have other lines on their account also getting iPhones. There were 3 in my order (one for my mom, one for my dad, and the third is mine).
Well guys. All my bitching has somewhat paid off. I just checked and my status has changed to "sent to processing"
I just checked my bank account and the full mount for all 3 phones has been withdrawn from my chase debit card. There had been no preauthorizations or any warning.
No tracking info yet.

that is sad you feel that way. I believe if Verizon delivers on the date they promise then they did their job of giving excellent service. As a new customer, I'm very satisfied with my experience with them at this point.
