Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

How long?

Anyone know how long after their card got charged and status changed to order sent for processing did they receive their email.?
 
my cc has just been charged as well. and my status page now shows an empty tracking box so i'm sure most of us will have tracking numbers tonight or by tomorrow afternoon
 
Mine has been sent for processing and my CC charged. Wasn't like that a half hour ago. So we are moving along!

32gb black ordered around 440 AM EST.

It's in process. The other screen was probably just a place holder so now hopefully more info.

I think this is more out of impatience than anything. What are they supposed to say between "processing" and "shipped?" I know the feeling because I felt the same way yesterday, but like many others have said, if you don't see a change by Wednesday night, then that's when it might be time to worry. They're all being sent out via standard overnight so even if they aren't shipped till Thursday, you'll still get them in time.
 
finally they charged my debt card...... "Your order has been sent for processing" Order location: D771001 i guess ill have tracking in the morning hopefully.

According to the timestamp on my receipt on My Verizon, 4 hours. But according to when my actual status changed to "sent for processing," 3 hours.
 
I am one of the Tri-state D771001 who ordered a black 32G around 4AM EST and besides showing shipping 9/21 I have had no updates. I have been refreshing the order status for days and just now the date disappeared.

The good news is I logged into my CC and I see the charge for the for phone. Funny it says VZWRLSS*D7710-01 as the merchant. I still have yet to get the tracking # but at this point I am feeling pretty certain I will have the iPhone 5 on Friday.

I agree with the others, no need to panic at this point.
 
Credit card finally charged!

Can't believe I'm so excited to have my card charged!

Ordered 2 black, 64gb, at 4:15 am ET on 14th.

Location code 1456901. (I think there were a few of you out there worried about the inactivity on this Location.) like some of you, before this, no ping, nothing, only the email verification.

Order 15*****

No shipping notice from Verizon yet, but know that it is in the works and am just glad to see something moving. :)

No one should get excited unless they don't get a shipping notice sometime by Thursday. Some of the late ordering on 9/14, say after 11am or so may not make the 9/21 deliver by date. Verizon will be overnighting alot of these, especially on the east coast. I'm an employee also.

Can you explain that a little more? I ordered mine at roughly 10:30 (Central) Friday morning in a Verizon store. As of right now, my email from Verizon says "deliver by: 9/26", does the "by" mean it could come before? :confused:
 
Charge on card ... Finally!

In Virgina here.

Pre-ordered Friday @ 7am.
Email confirmation within 5 minutes, then nothing.

Called VZW earlier to verify there was no issue with the card - there wasn't.

Charge just posted as pending to my card in the last 15 minutes so finally some movement. :D
 
Still no change on my end. No charge on my card. Status still says they've received my order. And ship date is still 9/21. I haven't mentioned this yet, but I did order one 16GB in black and one in white. Not sure if that's got anything to do with the slow moving process.
 
Multiple Phones

The reason many of us are ordering the multiple phones is the new Share anything Plans. I ordered 5 phones from the Verizon Store on Friday. Me, my wife, and my son were going to be all on one SE Plan with 4 GB. My brother and sister in law wanted a new phone and wanted to switch to verizon and it was cheaper for them to be on my plan (2 phones plus pay some more to move me to a 6 GB plan), than for them to be on a separate plan.

On another note, I have not seen anyone with shipping dates that ordered them from their local store. My Location is 7407701 which I guess is my local Verizon store.

I got the same exact order and just got charged and status update about 15 minutes ago, you should see a change by later tonight to tomorrow morning.

Ok sweet. Sounds like things are moving. Hopefully I'll have a shipment email when I get up tomorrow.

Ordered 32gb black around 6am EST
Received confirmation email @ 6:30am EST

Ace Order Location: D772001

Just within the past hour...

Credit card hold of $1 changed to full amount and
Order Status changed to "Your order has been sent for processing"
Expected ship date is now blank, but was 9/21 up until this recent activity

I was worried I may have ordered to late (I ordered when I woke up a little after 6am EST) but we'll see once I get tracking information...
