I heard from a very reliable source (Verizon VP) that:
1. No iPhone 5s will arrive on, or before Friday, September 21, and
2. The more you track your order, the further you get pushed down the queue.
What ever will I do?

As several people have pointed out, when the pending transaction shows up on your card and the expected ship date goes blank, this is a good thing. It means your order is getting ready to go out the door and you will receive a tracking number soon, likely today.The generic customer service reps do not seem to know this, but as we've seen over and over again in this thread, that's how it works.
Then give it time mine took a little bit to populate, it only had the ship date. You got a tracking number in the email.. FedEx will say when when its going to arrive. Who cares what the vzw says if its already shipped
Have you already received an e-mail? Has yours moved from NJ yet? I still don't have an updated status and my receipt was printed on 9/17... Ugg

Don't worry, guys. I'm in NYC, too, and last night my chard was charged, sent to processing and this morning received shipping information.
Prior to last night, I had ZERO movement on my order after initial email confirmation last Friday. My Chase debit card had not even been preauthorized or anything like that.
FYI, my order # is in the 300,000's ....
As long as your order is showing 9/21 and you don't have any credit card issues, everything should be fine.
Same here, they're waiting around until Thursday to do overnight shipping... seems stupid to me. Either set it up to be 2 day shipping or leave it still in the warehouse for a day, but don't waste resources pretending to take it somewhere and back...

My times are two minutes from yours.. I think our iPhones are on the same truck or within 2 minutes of each other on the conveyor belt.

I usually put one up just to be safe. It seems like restroom callings can happen at the worst times too.
So I checked my Fedex tracking number this morning and my iPhone is currently sitting at a Fedex facility literally 20 minutes away from me here in NJ. Wonder what they would say if I showed up and asked for it...
