I am in the same boat. My shipment from Memphis has been processed and in transit since Monday.
Unfortunately I don't think we will see any movement till Thursday. Thursday night it will go from Memphis to local hubs and then out for delivery.
Hopefully the Memphis planes don't divert and go towards the ocean and then crash. Siri will be trapped on an island with Tom Hanks, and she will be the only thing he can talk to. I guess that is an upgrade from a volleyball.
I registered just to give people some relief. I pre-ordered around 6 am eastern over the phone, and my ace order number was 18XXXXX, I just now got shipping information and show a ship date of 9/20/12. Its not in the fedex system yet, but it will after it is picked up. If the ace order number is the "number you were in line" then I dont see why anyone below 1.8 million wouldnt get theirs as well.
yea i seriously doubt anything would come early even tho the 4 did ship a day early.. but who knows
Same situation except mine is 32GB. No tracking using order number minus last two digits, shipping phone number, billing phone number, iPhone's phone number, etc. Tried UPS and FedEx. Apple still says preparing for shipment and delivers 9/21. Card has not been charged.

Relatively low demand? I think the 64 gig is quite popular. People either want the maximum amount of space, or the lowest price, so if anything the 32 would be in lowest demand.
There was no special hold date on the iphone 4/4s, so people got them a day early. These have a hold until 9/21, so give it a break and wait. Relax, jesus christ.
I guess it could go either way. I preordered my 4S from Best Buy last year and when they finally received an order of them they had many 16gb and 32 gb but zero 64gb. I went in there a couple of days ago and the manager of BB Mobile said that to this day he's only sold less than 15 64gb.
yeah, i've heard a lot of people say that between pics, apps, and music they'd be worried about running out of space with a 16gig, but at the same time say 64gb is overkill. i'd imagine there's way more 16 and 32 than 64 sales, in general.
also why we prolly won't see a 128gb iphone anytime in the near future.
VZ finally charged my Chase card, it's in my pending transactions now and my shipping info has vanished from the preorder site. Imagine my shipping email will be coming as soon as Fedex issues a tracking number and all will be well!

But back to the original topic. I still don't have any information for my 64gb black Verizon iPhone 5. I ordered at 12:02 PST. It isn't that I'm worried about not getting it on Friday, but I feel left out of the party here haha.
Well the phone is in temp. authorization under my credit card service now. Still when I check the preorder portal it still says : We received your order and it is in process. Payment not yet taken. I also have a receipt for the phone in my profile on verizon wireless. Ship date still blank. Getting anxious. I guess I shouldn't have sold my Galaxy Nexux on ebay and promised to ship it out on Friday.

Well as Verizon has been telling me for days. Today (the 19th) they sent my order to process. I also now have a doc on my VW acc main page for the order.
So my white 64GB iphone will arrive ontime.
I live about 5 mins from the west chester location so I'm sure it will get to me with no problems.

I placed my order at 11:30 Eastern on 9/14 and received a 9/26 delivery date. Am I going to get pushed back??
I might just camp out at the Apple Store tomorrow night.

I preordered iphone 5 on 14th before 00:20
i left the SSN blank because i dont have one
then i got an email saying my order is on hold and asked me to call customer service (the expected ship date was still 09/21/2012, status : we received your order and it is in process )
they asked me to fax my passport and bank statement
i did fax both document on 19th morning and the status and expected ship date didnt chane
few minutes later i got an email asking me to make $400 deposit.. (then the expected ship date changed to 10/05/2012) i made the deposit by calling them (while calling, i checked the order and the status changed to we received your order and it is in process. payment not taken yet and the expected delivery time gone but the customer service said the phone would still be shipped on 21) the person also told me that i would receive an email from verizon
few hours after calling, i still didnt get the email and the order status was still the same. I checked my bank account and verizon has charged me on the phone event hough it says "payment not taken yet". and still... no ship date
