Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

Arriving today?

I got a tracking number at about 2am and FedEx is saying it's on track for delivery this afternoon...? Anyone else getting this? Is it really going to come today?!?

Does it say "future delivery requested" on the picked up line?
 
I have 3 phones being delivered...2 of them in one package and the 3rd in another. The package with 2 phones says 3 lbs and the other one says 2 lbs. I thought the package with one phone is supposed to be 0.8 lbs?

well you got the fedex box, iphone box + accessories. im sure it was under 2lbs and they rounded it up

Mine said 9/19 delivery by 3pm.

On another note looks like they finally sent shipment information to FedEx. My phone was in Transit for 24 hours arrived at Memphis again (shock) and now is in transit again but it also just got shipment information which is good! And now we have reference numbers and everything.

I didn't get any accessories though, well not through Verizon at least. The 0.8 lbs ones I saw were UPS though so maybe FedEx packages them differently.

Ok, now I'm not fully convinced, tweakin' out to be honest. I need to call Verizon to make sure, what was the internet 866 number again lol?

Oh those. Well he said iPhone box and those come in the iPhone box so I wasn't really thinking about that. Like I said, maybe FedEx just packages them differently.

I ordered two phones and had the same situation. Both my phones have the same tracking number. People who ordered 1 phone have a package weight of 1 pound. My package weighs 2 pounds...twss :D

i ordered 2 16gb phones and it listed weight as 3 pounds in my tracking.

well mine is 2lb and all i ordered was 16gb black iphone. no extra chargers or cases.

im sure they way 1.5 lbs.. fedex must not do half lbs.. rounds up the single iphone to 2lbs and your other one is 1.5+1.5=3 lbs..
 
Activations

I really hope there isn't a mess with activations tomorrow...I was kinda hoping that the pre-orders would arrive a day early so that there wouldn't be such a bottle neck come tomorrow...
 
My FedEx guy is great. My work is on the same route as my home. He just stopped in to make a delivery and I told him that Verizon borked the street address on the shipment and nobody would be home anyway. He said no problem, he'll bring the phones around to the office.
