I like my pilot, he is flying at almost 500kts and was only planned to fly at 470

Cannot locate any FedEx flights from Newark, NJ to Columbus, OH. Mine departed Newark at 1:47pm. Maybe they contract with commercial airlines?

Maybe they sent it to Indy and then put it on a flight or truck to Ohio? I see there are FedEx flights to Indy from Newark.

You guys are absolutely going insane. How do you know it's not on a dedicated FedEx plane? Who cares what flight their iPhone is on?

I don't care... I just wondered how the guy knows... I have zero intention of tracking the package outside of the fedex tracking site. Even with that -- I'm really not even looking there. I'm not taking the day off or anything. My wife will txt me when it comes. I will try to stop home after work to pick it up but I have plans after work so I may not get to play with it till late at night.

I don't know what's worse around here anymore... the obesesive people already scrutinizing every detail or the idiots who keep complaining about the obsessive people's posts (equally adding nothing worthwhile to the discussion)

Verizon's Driving me crazy!

Ordered on friday at 7 am. still haven't got a shipping email. Called verizon a couple times, So far i've been told 4 different things some say ill get it tomorrow, some say next week. Who should I believe? Very unorganized,

Alright will do. I still don't know if I can even make it tomorrow. Worst case is that I have to wait to get my phone, not the end of the world

I just got off the phone with Verizon.

If you got updated saying your order is being processed you should be set.

The manager at Verizion said all iPhone orders leaving their warehouses today are being sent with overnight shipping to be received by tomorrow.

Called my local FedEx facility again to follow up with the nice lady I spoke to yesterday.

She was able to see my shipment since all the information is now on their system. She had to type an override for me to be able to pick it up there.

She did say that sometimes the driver doesn't see the notes she typed and it might still go out on the van for delivery.

Either way, I'll stop on my way to the airport tomorrow to see if it is there. If it is there GREAT! If not, oh well, just glad to see she was nice enough to try.

Worse comes to worse, looking forward to seeing it next week when I get back. I'll also try to look in SF to see some of the demo phones to see if I'd really like the iPhone 5 etc.

The nice lady I spoke to this morning just called me back saying that they just got out of a meeting and that my iPhone has to go out for delivery and no exceptions since that's their agreement with Verizon....sigh

Oh well...will just have to wait a week for my phone when I get back.
