I think we're better off going to a Verizon store over the weekend and taking some chances.
I'm not sure I follow your question.
If you go to FlightAware and search for departure and arrival for Memphis/your place of living, you could guesstimate what plane it is on.
Once it leaves, you can find the time of the flight leaving and time of package being scanned as left, and that's the one it's on.
Know the feeling ... two years with both an Android phone and an iPad and what I'm sorely in need of is a consistent interface for the software that I use for work daily on the iPad. Never been completely impressed with wife's 4S, but still looking forward to that interface being delivered tomorrow, as it FINALLY seems to have left Memphis ... none too soon.

Ok, so all these phones are finally starting to leave Memphis and looks like we will al have them tomorrow as they told us. Now the next big question is - what about activation? Anybody remember when the 4S came out how tough was it to get activated when everybody had their phones all at once?

Cannot locate any FedEx flights from Newark, NJ to Columbus, OH. Mine departed Newark at 1:47pm. Maybe they contract with commercial airlines?
yes! I was right. My tracking status just changed to "departed FedEx location" in Memphis and the flight to Oregon just took off according to FlightAware. I can watch it live moving across the country. obsessed much? nah.
How long from when my credit card is charged until I get my tracking numbers?

I got charged last night at 817pm. Got shipping notification today at 347pm. Soooo 19.5 hours lol. I'm sure yours will arrive earlier though. My friend got charged around the same time and got his email at 1. So there doesn't seem too much rhyme or reason to it.
I am a little worried since I am in CA and mine still has not shipped. The last update I received was 5:45am

It's been almost 12 hours without an update. I live in Rancho Cucamonga, a city that neighbors Ontario (where they have a big hub), so I assume that's why my package may be going on a later flight.

Live in Los Angeles and package still has not departed Memphis. Not worried yet as there are two flights still coming out of Memphis.
If it doesn't leave on the first flight I'm hoping it makes the second...fingers crossed.

FlightAware doesn't have all the information. Typically just regular routes.
It's probably extra routes were added for this iPhone deal.
They might be a little off. For example my plane was suppose to leave at 355, my scan time was 357 and actual departure was 415.

Like I said, it's not a big deal to me. I've got a full weekend of tailgating and football ahead of me. NCAA Saturday, NFL Sunday. I already have enough going on, I can wait till Wednesday.
