So guys, it's now after 5pm CT, and I have no movement on my order. Still says:
"We received your order and it is in process"
"Expected Ship Date: 09/21/2012"
The collective knowledge on this forum has been saying all week that this order should arrive tomorrow. Based on having no tracking number or charge to my credit card, do you guys still think it will arrive tomorrow?
Seems unlikely to me!

Nope, I ordered 3 phones and nothing else...
Yes, but you can't use the website - it won't let you, and will say your package is not eligible. You have to call them. And they don't just send it to your closest FedEx store, they actually hold it at the local "hub" you could say. I think they call it sorting facility, not sure exactly. But mine is about 30 mins away... luckily it's actually not far out of my way on my route to work though.
Mine says the exact same thing, so I called Verizon earlier today and they said it will be delivered sometime next week. Likely Wednesday or Thursday. What time did you order on Friday?

I tried and she was really nice. I guess a week won't kill me. Besides I'll be working the whole week and traveling.
Just frustrates me I can't pick it up....arrrgh!

Same boat here. I ordered 2 phones at 9:20am EST Friday. The 32G made it out for delivery tomorrow but the 64G is still showing "...in process".
Yay!

Business customer update here. After I received the "Completed" order emails still without tracking, I was able to get the Fedex Track by Reference Trick to work. The "Completed" email has a normal order number in it. Based on another user's post about track-by-reference, I went to fedex and entered my location code, underscore, two zeros (ymmv on the # of zeroes), and up came all three of my orders with tracking info that VZW didn't see fit to give me.
I have 2 scheduled to come in tomorrow (ordered at ~4:10am PST, 9/14) and 1 more scheduled to come in on Monday (this was the order that got screwed up and required more info).
(Just as I finished writing this, I got the tracking number in a shipping confirmation email from VZW... almost 24hrs after I got the "Completed" email)

Like I said, I'm just going by what everyone has been saying here on the forum. I've lost count of the number of times that I've read "relax, your phone will be delivered on Friday".
My confirmation email says Delivery by 9/26, which I am starting to believe.
Reread what I had put man It was a positive hearted comment using a synonymous situation as an example of how non mainstream behaviors are fun for some people. It wasnt a shot at anyone. The glass is half full

Ha... now I just got a call from the actual sorting facility, confirming that I wanted those packages held for pick-up tomorrow.
Honestly it sounds like you got the run-around. You should try calling again!
Just got off the phone with Verizon and they told me that my order didnt go through properly therefore its still stuck in processing even though the order was placed in time for a 9/21 delivery. She said it probably wont be delivered tomorrow and that its something beyond control (automated system). I think I'll get it on monday instead #FirstWorldProblems

Thanks for this tip - I was able to track my "completed" business order with this method. I ordered at 10:05 ET on the business site, got a call from an agent today about an issue with the plan I selected, and I will still receive my box from FedEx sometime tomorrow. Now I can get some work done tonight

Just checked and mine is here in Austin at the destination sort facility. It is killing me to know it is HERE and I can't have it until tomorrow.
The black ones must weigh more.
I have two coming in different packages. The white says 1.0 lbs and the black 2.0lbs. I thought it was a memory size thing but maybe it's color?
