Haha, I blame late night work for putting me in that mindset. It's now 3:30 here almost and I'm still thinking it's Thursday night and not Friday morning. :D But yeah, thankful those cases are getting here FRIDAY instead of Saturday.

For those who aren't seeing movement on FedEx's website, try the iship.com/trackit site. It's far more up to date. In fact, FedEx's website is still showing my iPhone as being in transit from Memphis, but iship says it just arrived in Flint.

For my 4S I had both a defender and a lifeproof case...in my opinion the Lifeproof case offers far superior protection AND it is so much slimmer then a Defender. I HATED the defender because it is so thick and bulky! The Lifeproof case is thin and streamlined and offers better protection!
 
Still awake!

I'm waiting here in California. I was one of these people with the expected delievry date of the 19th. That obviously didn't happen :eek: no surprise though but now there is no expected delivery date and my tracking is stuck at:

Ahhhh

Fedex is still holding my phone captive.:eek::confused: I honestly wouldn't mind them waking me up at 3am if it came down to it.. I mean assuming I wasn't still up. :D
 
Pre-ordered a white 32GB shortly after 3am ET last Friday.

My tracking on FedEx updated just under an hour ago :eek:

Pretty excited myself. I owned a 4S before my Samsung Galaxy S III and I currently own an iPad 2. Like I stated earlier, my first pre-order, looking forward to seeing how quick this phone is.

I am going to sit back and watch. With a 4:44 am arrival in my city's "Destination Sort Facility" I feel like I have pretty much all afternoon to wait for a delivery?

PS good idea on the coffee, might have to do the same!

Nice! mine is sitting in Honolulu too...too bad it won't get here till tomorrow. plus i'm gonna have to wait till next week tuesday to open it because i have work all day and i have to catch a flight to Oahu after that(then that's where i'll be for the next 3 days). unless, they come to my door at 8am in the morning...hmm i wonder if they do it that early in Hawaii??? Maui, to be exact.

My phone made it to Dulles last night. No movement yet this morning but I expect it is headed to my local FedEx to be on a truck.
 
Strange thing happening to mine... It was sitting in Newark NJ for 1.5 days, then last night (7pm) left to [I presume Avenel NJ] facility, and hasnt arrived there yet.

My last FedEx shipment went similar route, and arrived Avenel around 6am, was out for delivery at 6:50...

waiting... :confused:
 
My tracking hasn't ever moved out of "initiated.". I've never gotten to transit, and it is showing an expected delivery by 3pm today. WTH? I'm on east coast (7am) do unless it's going to be picked up just down the road from some warehouse... I ordered by 12:15am to get earliest shipment because I'm going on vacation for a week tomorrow. Argh.
 
Mine didn't leave the Newark, NJ location until 3:40am this morning. It is coming to Connecticut. No updated on arrival at the destination yet.

I'm a little worried but they still have me as Sept 21, 2012 3pm deliver date. Is FedEx ever known for updating tracking info late? My hope is maybe its at the sort facility and ready to get on the truck but just hasn't been updated yet.

Same here, left Newark at 7pm, not arrived yet. I was expecting to see it out for delivery by now...

must be on the same 18-wheeler :)

I suspect it has already arrived to Avenel, but since they have too many small packages, the processing/sorting/registering etc. takes longer.
 
Mine has been sitting in NJ since yesterday at 3:36pm, I also expected the status to be "out for delivery" by now. Today is going to be sooooooo long ... until 3pm that is. Guess I'll just spend the hours looking at all the unboxing pics, haha :p
