Mines on its last leg to the local facility. Just have to wait for them to open in another hour and a half to go pick it up before work and then not get any work done all day. Can't wait!
 
Looks like my package from fed ex should be here sometime before 3pm today.
You guys know how that is, every automobile that even slightly resembles a truck, has you jumping up and looking out the window! Oh the sweet, sweet agony, that is waiting for the delivery guy!
 
Any idea how quickly FedEx tracking updates when a delivery is made?

I live about 10 minutes from work, and if it's pretty instantaneous, I could just run home as soon as they are delivered, minimizing the risk that they would get stolen. Unless of course, someone is hawking the FedEx guy/gal. I live in a good area though.
 
Strange... Mine left Memphis yesterday at 530pm and live just an hour away and it still hasn't been scanned at the local sort facility yet. Not normal at all as I use FedEx at least once every two weeks. Going to be a long day it feels.

Mine is still sitting about 90 miles away. This isn't much different from the last iPad release. It sat in that facility until after 8am and then didn't show up in the local depot until about 10am. Seems like a long time to let things go but that's how it played out.

I think it's pretty immediate. I remember looking before and seeing it changed right after a delivery. Can't guarantee though.

Same here. The "local" hub is an hour away, and it's in Atlanta now, which is 2 hours away.
 
I'm beginning to get a little nervous. I live about 4 hours east of Memphis. It said departed it departed the FedEx Memphis location at 3:17 pm central daylight time yesterday. It is now almost 6:44 am central daylight time, and it still hasn't reached my destination sorting facility.

I'm sure it'll get here, but it sure does cause more anxiety.

At least I'm not the only one. Maybe this is just going to be normal for today but they all get delivered. FedEx really does take delivery dates seriously.

No you need to make one, other wise they will have you set up an appointment in store and if there is a line for the genius bar, you'll have to wait. You can make an appointment off your iPhone.
 
Finally at local FedEx facility...

I think FedEx is playing football with my iPhone all over NJ:

2 arrivals in Elizabeth, NJ
2 arrivals in Newark, NJ
Now in Branchburg, NJ

So it is a triangle of places, and I am right in the middle of it.. They are teasing us !

Hey FedEx, time to score a touchdown ! :D

I called and they said that since we don't have a local Apple store I can still purchase Apple Care Plus. In Other news my phone is now out for delivery :)

FedEx Signature Release Form

My three Verizon phones are at the local FedEx facility. I work from a Home office, but don't want to run out and miss the delivery. So I took the FedEx release form available on the Apple web site, cleared out all of the order specific info and made a simple Word document. There are three text boxes, one for the tacking number, one for the delivery address (including zip) and one for the delivery zip code. Everything else should be filled in by hand. Just print this and hang it on your door.

Mine left Memphis at 1:41 yesterday and didn't get to the destination sort facility in Chattanooga (less than an hour's flight) until 6:05 this morning. I'm sue yours is there by now or close. It usually takes about 30 minutes for fedex tracking to update too.
 
I'm getting scared my phone le Newark at 330am and has not been scanned into my local hub yet and it's onl 2 1/2 hrs away

I've seen it take as long as an hour. Then again, it can be pretty immediate.
