Hopefully mine is coming soon. I ordered 9/17 at 10:17 am. Status still says awaiting inventory.
Does yours not say 'We received your order and it is in process' like the rest of us?
My 32GB black iPhone 5 was delivered today. Perfect condition. No scratches, no scuffs, no wifi problems. Setup took less than 5 minutes. Only thing that was bit tricky was that I was required to turn off my Razr Maxx, before I could activate iPhone 5. That was the hard part because you have to call a number to activate iPhone, and with razr maxx being my only phone and having to turn it off, I had to use Skype on my computer to dial number. Other than that, flawless. Charging now.
To the people receiving their deliveries, what regions do you live in? Perhaps there is a regional rotation?
The bottom line is that if we do not have an update by tomarrow there is no chance in hell we will recieve **** on 10/5 I'm so utterly disappointed with Verizon and apple for not working together to fulfill there commitments to the money makers "all of us" without us they are broke as ****
No, but mine is ordered though our business account web page. You don't have the ability to check pre-order status the same way.
it says ship by 10/5 not recieve by 10/5
if you dont have tracking info on 10/5 then yea i'd def be flipping.
Mine said ship by 10/19 but they charged my card. If I dont have tracking info by tomorrow i'm flipping. No reason for them to be charging my card 4 days ago and still not have tracking info.
Sorry, yeah i should have mentioned that... I am seeing EVERYTHING (as far as roles) when i log into Verizon. I just want my phone...

I pre-ordered a black 16GB phone on 9/15 in store. My status is the same as most here with the expected ship date of 10/5. I don't even have a smart phone currently so I am apparently way beyond the times on this. I was under the impression I would get it on the 21st, and the sales agent gave me no reason to believe otherwise! I was pretty angry, but now I am seeing this is pretty common with these pre-orders. I've entered into a world I didn't know existed and would like to think I am above all this and waiting for the phone....but I find myself checking the status page (and this forum for that matter) with the rest of you!!
At least it has provided me with some humor as I wait helplessly for my new (and first) smart phone!

A follow up to this post ... I received e-mail notification 10 minutes ago (2:18PM Central) that my order has shipped. I wasn't expecting it to ship until mid October, so a nice surprise. White 32gb model.

Yes, 1-877-807-4646 and follow prompt commands. Had to enter phone number and last 4 digits of SSN to activate phone. Don't know if you have to do that if you are upgrading from another iphone, but I had to do it it since I went from an android to an iPhone 5.
this gives me a bit of hope. waiting on two 32gigs. card has been charged already. didn't order till 9/22 tho.
