Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I have another fedex package I can check where it went before it hit my house. I'll go use that.
It is Newburg NY. Oh well I can still keep my hopes up
well i got mine a day early and can't even activate till tomorrow.
If you used an upgrade i'm sure your fine. I added a new line to my phone plan and that new line isn't showing in my acct till tomorrow. Getting a day early was just a tease. And then i have to wait another 24 hours until i can switch it to my phone line! GRRR

I ordered on the 28th. It says my ship by date is 10/26! My status is order being processed and no payment has been taken. I am tempted to cancel and try my luck at a brick and mortar store

I ordered on 9/20 appx 6am with ship date 10/12. And no progress yet. 16gig White.
Pre ordered my White 32Gig 5 on the 21st and initially it said my ship date was 10/19 but the phone has already shipped and will be here 10/4!!!!!!!! So stoked.
They always do that. I have always laughed at it and wondered why. Maybe they have a couple facilities there. LOL
I was thinking about calling apple tomorrow to change my color from black iphone 32GB to white because 1) i'm racist (joke) 2) I want it sooner 3) I think I like the white one better

Just sharing frustration with all the others.
I ordered 9/17 afternoon over the phone with VZW and was given a ship date of 10/5. Went through the terms of agreement and patiently waited as I read numerous others got their phones early. Now it is practically 2 days before the phones are set to arrive and my order is still "in process." No pending authorizations on the CC, no additional emails, and customer service ranges from sympathetic to patronizing on numerous calls.
Why do I care?? It's a dumb phone!
It's my fault for reading this thread daily for the last 10 days. Most likely will get word tomorrow but half hope that it's late and might get an upgrade....

Expected ship date 10/19.
I ordered a little late. The wait is killing me. I managed to talk a Verizon rep in to moving my upgrade date up by a month. I was later told that they weren't supposed to do that due to some contract they have with Apple. I'm waiting for them to snatch the rug out from under me. I've called a couple of times. The reps haven't been too polite. I kind of feel like everything they says is B.S. made up on the spot. I called the local Verizon store as i was considering cancelling my order and picking it up locally. The guy i talked to said all of their stores were out and they were expecting more on 10/26 and that i'd be better off keeping my online order.
Well we'll see how it goes. Hopefully it'll ship early because my fascinate is about to eat it.

Where did you order it? I ordered a White 64GB from Verizon (otp) around 7am EST on the 21st. Still have a ship day of 10/19. No News yet. It is killing me.
When do you think they will be available in the brick and mortar Verizon stores? I have a $50 credit from Verizon otherwise I would just buy one from the Apple store.
I was told the Verizon stores will not get any until all of the back orders were filled. If you want one sooner you can try to overnight (10pm-4am) purchase at Apple.com. It will allow you to see what is available for next day pick up at your local Apple stores. I had luck finding one for my husband, but have had no luck finding one for me.
There are still shipments arriving on a daily basis to Verizon stores where I live. Also Radio Shack has them.
