Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I know but it's not only you, it's many people receiving theirs around the time when I bought it
Ordered 4 16GBs on Sept 23 from VZW store in Delaware -2 black 2 white. Ship date 10/19.
Still got original message and no sign of phones yet
I'm with you....ordered three 16's on 9/24.....expected delivery date 10/19.
Won't be long now.....a lot of people on the 22nd and 23rd are getting shipments.
I ordered in the store on 10/3 through the premium retailer in my area, so he ordered from the Verizon website so I have my order number etc... Anyways, it changed yesterday from "We have received your order and it is in process" with a ship date of 10/26 to "We are processing your order" with no ship date. I can't tell if my credit card was charged because it was charged the moment I placed it. Anyways, is this a good sign? It's a black 32g........... should I get excited or just keep waiting? I don't know what to do haha.

It actually reads 'Your order has been sent for processing' where 3 days ago it read 'We have received your order and it is being processed'. and my ship date has been removed so I dunno when to expect it. my luck, it'll be pushed back to 11/2 or something.... I hope it does ship soon. :/
Good luck with yours too bud. Anyone else experiencing what I am with the change but no emails or anything? If I were to get an email for shipping, when would I expect it?
I am in an identical situation as you. I didn't notice my ship date had disappeared until you mentioned it. I may call verizon later today to see what's up.
Of course while typing this in class I notice this girl next to me with a ip5. Jealous and ready for mine.

Like I said I'm in same situation. I'm expecting tracking within less than 24 hours. That's what has normally been happening.
I don't know about that. I never got a 4s. I'm referring to this happening with these preorders. Well more like "preorders" this isn't prerelease haha.
But I think "Your order has been sent for processing." means your order is in the warehouse and you will be assigned a phone extremely soon.
This is all speculation by me though.
I'm still trying to see a pattern here as to how Verizon ship these phones. There must be a pattern somehow..
It's crazy how Verizon phones are moving faster than AT&T's, well at least the 16 GB's.

Here's my thought process:
1. "We have received your order and it is in process."
Aka your order is in the computer and you are in line to receive a phone.
2. "Your order has been sent for processing."
Aka we have picked your order out of the line and it will be shipped in 24 hours or less.
3. Bingo iPhone 5.
That's my thought process but I'm no logistics and distribution engineering major like some people I know.
just how the system works. You will get your shipping details and it should be on the date your original email was sent.

So, since yesterday when my order status changed to "Your order has been sent for processing" I'm going to assume that I should be receiving shipping info by like tonight? maybe? I'm gonna flip if this is just some system hiccup and I get my phone on like 1/23/13 or something

Nothing changed today
So according to Verizon automated system my order has been shipped. Then it said my phone had been activated? I'm confused. On hold with customer service right now.

It's most likely because the 16 gigs are more in demand than the other models. I've never even hit 12 on my current phone...so seemed silly to get a higher capacity iP5. Nevertheless, means I get to wait :/
