Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

when will this ever end..
Call Verizon tomorrow. Or even right now. Bet it has shipped. If not ask them why yours isn't shipping but everyone else's is.

Here's my thoughts....i believe that the 16 gb shipments are lagging behind the 32 gb and 64 gb orders by a few days. From what i have gathered, the 16 gb phones that are shipping now were ordered on Sept. 24-25th. The 32 and 64 are less popular and don't have a long of a wait time as the 16. All the phones that were ordered in October and have already shipped have all been 32 or 64's. I wouldn't panic too much, you're order will probably process soon, it's most likely just delayed due to being a 16 gb. I hope you get good news soon!
i hope so too, but as you can see there are a few users here with 16GB orders, that placed the order after me.
but oh well i guess ill wait. i would expect at least a credit card charge or something lol
On your Verizon phone call 611 then when you get to the main menu press the 4 button and when it asks you to tell the automated system what your calling about say 'Order Status' then it'll ask for your billing password (a four digit number) then press the # after entering that. Then, follow the prompt about the current pre order ending in ............ whatever yours is then it'll say the status. It has the most up to date. if it says shipped or receieved and activated then it's on its way! tell me what happens.

Ordered a black/slate 16gb iphone 5 on 9/26. Status still reports shipping date of 10/19. From what I can tell, few (if any) 16gb phones ordered after about 9/23 have shipped at this point. The 32/64s are moving faster, presumably due to lower demand. Hoping mine will ship sometime early next week based on the movement this week so far.

My "Preorder status" from that link we had earlier today still shows "Your order is processing" or whatever that crap was even right now AFTER I GOT A SHIPPING EMAIL. That systems seems to suck. Then me and Iced were calling through this system and it was saying it was shipped and we were confused as heck earlier today. If yours is a 16gb the person who said it is lagging behind is likely right. The 32's and 64's have been shipping earlier than 16's across all carriers and apple. Don't fret too much.Then later we obviously got our tracking. You have to get the correct customer service rep to if you speak to a person. The first lady I had sounded clueless. The second one later in the day was much more helpful.
@Iced what time did yours get picked up in Memphis, TN? I swear we in same box.
i guess i will wait for my brother to come back from work, im the account owner but i got him a line too.
btw i just tried this with a free call app on my mac, and when it says enter 16 digit order number, after i enter it, it hangs up on me..

earlier today when you checked and it said " your order is processing" was your card charge then?
Well ours (Iced and mine) was different cause we did it through a retailer. But I did find out the store was charged yesterday. My status changed to 'Your order has been sent for processing' about 11pm last night. Then today found out about the payment being made from my retailer and then finally I got tracking about 5:30pmish?

A bit faster than the 16's. It's safe to expect it a bit before your ship date.
it is still giving me the option to cancel, im sure if it was ready to ship it wouldn't allow me to cancel. so ill just wait.
It's annoying. But I learned to stop checking everyday and actually worry about something else.
Then everything went by faster.
On another note...I noticed a lot of my apps got updates today and 2/3's of them mentioned iPhone 5 support. Good news.
My email came to my iPhone 4 at 4:51 P.M (EST) with shipping information. I just went to Verizon's online website to check the order status and am laughing because it says "Your order has been sent for processing" and I already have the shipment info and it's already been picked up in TN. Hahahah, their online system BLOWS. Don't freak out man, the 16's are like 2-3 days behind. Expect yours no later than like next wednesday or so. Do your best to call the verizon automated system and see what it says.

Hahah this is my 1st pre-order. I'll just keep using my galaxy s3 and wait for that email. I really didn't care till like two days ago. A whole week went by and I never checked my Email but as soon I found out about this thread I jumped in haha
Speaking of which 30 seconds ago I just checked my order status on the verizon online order status web page and it says "Estimated ship date 11/2" and I already have tracking info and it is in memphis TN in FedEX's place right now. Man their system is so messed up. Heheheheheheh
My phone on the fedex website just updated to 'In Transit' headed my way yayayayayay! Lol I still don't get it until Monday even if it gets here tomorrow I bet. hah it'd be my luck.

DUDE! That is the EXACT same tracking I have. I have the exact same locations and times!!!!! Where is yours headed? City/state
Haha thats what I was thinking. They will be splitting soon though. Mine is headed to eastern NC. Saw that you were in Indiana. Looks like they may have made the trip over the big blue sea in the same box.
