Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I ordered the exact same day with the same ship date, so we should be getting our phones around the same time :p
 
Ordered my white 16g on 9/28 and my tracking number says it will be delivered tomorrow before 7pm.

Still trying to decide if it would be safe to leave a note with my tracking number and signature on the door for the FedEx guy. I have to work tomorrow and will be gone all day :(

Been doing some research online and people are saying that there are some shady FedEx drivers out there that will take your stuff if you've already signed. That worries me!

My neighborhood is pretty safe and you can't really see my front stoop from the street.....but I'm not sure I wanna take any chances since I've been waiting for this bad boy for so long!

Anybody else have an opinion on this?? :eek:

Hopefully it will come before 10am when my hubby is home.

I think you should leave a note like you said with your tracking number and signature for them. Make sure you put it somewhere that they will notice like right on the door or your garage or wherever else they might look to drop it off. I wouldn't worry about them stealing your package or anything from your house. If they do, which is highly unlikely, you can always call the police and they will find out who was working on that route at that time and they can catch him and help you get your package, so no need to worry :) Good luck and I hope you get your phone safely and without any problems :) Mine wont be here until next week :eek: so I have a little bit more waiting to do, but it sure is worth it!!!

They had the wrong credit card info! I called and now all is well, the rep I talked to said since I called soon enough I will keep my spot. What a relief lol

Card was charged last night. No tracking number yet though.

Even if they were slow to update the tracking system, we would still probably see the charge on our credit cards. I ordered 16gb black on 10/1 and still nothing also.

Yep, I actually went on FedEx.com and printed out their package release authorization form and filled out, then taped it to my door. Good luck getting yours too! I'm very excited as this is my first iPhone! :D
 
Ordered 10/21

I ordered two 32gb's one black one white on sunday, it seems the 32's are coming pretty quick, we go on a vacation in about 25 days I would love to have it here by then, the website is saying 11/16 though which is when we are gone :(

Ok have a tracking number now- set to be delivered by Fri 10/26. I'll be at work all day so it looks like I'll have to pick it up at the local FedEx warehouse on Saturday. Or I guess I could fill out an authorization form to leave it on doorstep.
 
Finally got the tracking number, set to deliver on 10/26.
Ordered on Verizon website Sept 29, one black and one white 16G.
Thanks to everybody on ths thread for keeping my hopes high during these long weeks of waiting.
I am not sure if I have waited for anything ordered online for so long.
But I guess it was worth it.:)

I cant seem to find that form. Can you direct me to where it is? I'm never home for the mail so chances are that they will have to leave it. Thanks!
 
Got mine today! (9/27, white 16gb) Already made a trip to Best Buy and bought an extra usb to lightning cord and had a zagg protector put on, so it's sitting drying now. Can't wait to get it turned on! It's gorgeous.
 
I have tracking info. It will be here before Friday at 7 p.m. Thanks to all who have updated the thread, and good luck to all who are still waiting. Be Patient!
 
I just got a call from verzion after sending them an email regarding my iphone 5 (16gb black) order that I placed on 10/1. They assured me that there were no delays and that it will ship out on 10/26. So hopefully that's the case and I will have it early next week!
