When did you order? I ordered from the verizon store on 10/1, and still haven't heard anything.
Day 1 Verizon iPhone 4 customer, so like many of you I could not upgrade til 10/10. I tried the 10pm reservation personal pickup at the Apple store online to no availability. The next day I said "screw this" and just ordered it via Verizon Wireless website (10/11/12). Just checked the status on my order and it's currently out for delivery! My original ship date was 10/26, 4 days early!!! ****** yeah!

I am losing hope. I ordered 10/1 from apple.com and chose standard shipping with delivery from 10/31-11/6. I would think it that it would ship at least 7 days before the delivery date. No charge on my card and no change in the status.
Got an email today from Verizon about my order...
have great news! I see that your original ship date was 11/2 and the order is still on track to ship no later than by 11/2. Your card will not actually be charged until the device ships from our warehouse. We are doing our best to get these phones out as quickly as possible, but it ultimately depends on when we get new shipment from Apple. After reviewing the order though, I don't see any reason to worry that it won't get there by 11/2!
Hopefully I get it before 11/2 got my fingers crossed #

I'm in the same boat...I irdered my 16gb black from the Verizon store on 10/1, and my credit card still hasn't been charged, and no updates on my status. I'm hoping my credit card gets charged either today or tomorrow and that I get the phone by the end of the week.
32GB black ordered from Verizon on Thursday night, got a shipping notice on Sunday afternoon with delivery date of Wed 10/24. going 32 was a good idea after all, less than a week of turnaround.

I got my tracking numb and it says itll be here on wednesday but im hoping tomorrow lol the place they scanned it is about 1.5 hours away

Faster and faster based on what? Dates keep getting pushed out.
I ordered a black 32gb from verizon on 10/18. Card was charged on 10/19 and just got shipping info today. Should be here by Wednesday.
I originally ordered from apple.com, but it seems they are taking longer to ship than verizon, so I cancelled that order and ordered through verizon. When I placed the original order on apple.com I ordered an additional lightning cable, which shipped from China. Thought that was strange.

i ordered mine on 9/27 and they charged me this past friday and it says it'll be here on Wednesday
Ordered a 16GB black 09/28 via Verizon's phone order system and I had a ship by estimate of 10/26. It shipped today (09/22) with estimated delivery on Wednesday (09/24).
I also canceled an order from apple.com and placed an order on 10/18 expecting the phone maybe tomorrow but at the latest Wednesday. I would definitely recommend people order from their carriers for the foreseeable future they seem to be shipping faster and from inside the USA as opposed to apple shipping directly from China.
I ordered 10/3 for a 16gb black. No activity yet. From what I see, they're doing September 29 orders now. So, hopefully soon. If it is regional, maybe some will see progress before others.
I ordered the same phone the same day. Verizon doesn't update the status on the weekends, so hopefully tomorrow we'll hear something.
