Has anyone else's phone sat in FedEx facilities for a day? It sat there all day yesterday when it easily could have shipped out last night and been delivered today as evidenced by my new iPod nano which left Memphis at night and delivered the next day, I feel like they kept it there on purpose to fufill the 2 day shipping Verizon does, annoying but at least ill have my phone tomorrow :) no wonder why ups is number 1, never seen this stuff happen on ups

yeah mine did the same, I even called FedEx to see if I could pick it up but per Verizon policy they wouldn't let me :(
 
Faster and faster based on what? Dates keep getting pushed out.

According to people receiving their tracking info, it seems to be getting faster by the week. The only model getting pushed back is the 16gb according to Verizon, but the 32gb and 64gb stayed the same a lot longer than the 16.

Last I saw of mine, well, I'm not sure where it is. It said Memphis, then yesterday morning, it changed to no location listed, just says "Shipment information sent to Fedex." But I felt the same way that it sat there for an awfully time. Excited to see the phone show up tomorrow though! :)
 
Ordered the black 16GB iPhone 5 on 9/29. Shipping date is supposedly 10/26, but there has not been a charge made on my card and nothing has changed. Doesn't look like I'll be getting it this week.
 
Anyone ordered a 16 GB VZW last week? What's the time frame looking like? My friend has delivery by Nov. 9.

I ordered on the 14th with a ship date of 11/02
I emailed Verizon and they said I should get it on time or even before. Fingers Crossed

I ordered 3 iPhone 5's from Verizon online on 10/3/12. 16gb white, 32gb black and 32gb white. Says expected ship date 10/26. I hope it ships tomorrow so I can get them before the weekend. My billing cycle with AT&T ends the 28th so it would be nice to get the number ported by then.

Hope everyone gets their iPhone 5 on time or early. As for me, I ordered a black iPhone 5 16 gb in store at Verizon on 9/29 around 11-11:45 a.m and still have not received any tracking info nor has my status changed once during this entire time. Hopefully I hear something tomorrow at the latest... Really don't see how they are going to fulfill orders that were placed until 10/6 with a ship date of this Friday 10/26. Oh well, hopefully it does happen.

I know i just posted not too long ago, but I just happened to look on the verizon preorder status website and my order has now been switched to sent for processing. Black iphone 5 16 gb

Go to the Verizon Wireless website and click on contact. It will give you a bunch of options on how to contact them. Good Luck
 
Some of you people need to learn what "estimated" and "ship date" mean, along with some patience.

Excuse me but when a representative tells me that my phone WILL SHIP BY 10/26 that isn't an estimate that is them telling me that my phone will be shipped by that date.

I can guess that most of the people in this thread were told their phone would SHIP BY 10/26, 11/2, or 11/9.

We all have patience but we want our phones and knowing that we are supposed to be seeing some movement has people worried about receiving them.

No reason to be an ass.
 
I think that some people were talking about that happening to them within the last couple of days. Go back a few pages to see what they did. It might just be the way the system processes the orders.
 
Update on my order:

Ordered 64GB black color via Verizon online account on 10/10 I think, original shipping date was Oct 26th, updated to October 20th, scheduled for delivery tomorrow (24th). :D

Overall pretty happy as it moved up shipping by almost a week.

The order search page says "Expected ship date". A lot of people crying because others got theirs early and they aren't. And even if a rep told you it would ship by 10/26, that's still three days away. If it ships tomorrow or the next day, guess what? That's still BY the 10/26, although I highly doubt a rep told you that. Not being an ass, just being honest.
 
For what it's worth, the order search page gives expected shipping dates, but I received a notification that first confirmed the order, then after a few days I got another notification saying my order would ship BY Oct 26th, and then finally a shipping notification. The second notification dropped the "expected" language, so if an order has not shipped by the date given when you receive this notification then I would say a legitimate complaint can be made.

A friend of mine ordered several weeks before I did and is getting his several days after me, same color and capacity, different network. I told him that's what he gets for using AT&T. :D
