Just for your information, just got off the phone with a Verizon rep. She said if the billing address on your payment method differs from the one you entered, IT WILL BE FINE ONLY IF THE ZIPCODE IS THE SAME..
So as long as both the ship to and billing addresses match, AND if the entered billing ZIPCODE matches the one on the card, you will be fine

Damn what if it asked for a credit card billing address? I'm using a card with a billing address that's from a different state but it did ask for a zip code for the card when I used it as a payment option.
 
Hi guys! I ordered at 2:56 AM EST on friday and I just got my email notifying me my phone has shipped from Verizon! It gives a tracking number too.

What configuration and color did you order? I ordered a 32 gb Black and my confirmation email time was 2:52AM Central. My order still says being processed or something like that.
 
yeah it is. on your email it shows the billing address, thats about it.

Not according to the rep, that billing information is apparently the standard billing information on the account. If my card information was entered correctly it still would show the account billing information in the email.

I ordered a 16 GB Black, my confirmation email time was 2:56 AM EST.

what do you mean exactly? the card #.

I guess mine looks different since its a new account.
mine just has billing address, shipping address, then payment type.

The account holder of my family plan, lives in a different city than I do.

I pre-ordered using my credit card, my billing address and shipping to my address, however the email has her billing information on it.
 
can the case be returned to any verizon store or does it have to be shipped back?

They told me that you can either return it to a Verizon store or you can ship it back to them. Still, I think they should fix the order before shipping the phones on the 21st instead of us having to deal with exchanging them.

Does the reference number have any relation to your location code (D771001) or the order number?

I'm in the same warehouse as you, btw! :)
 
None of the tricks to see the status of my preorder at Verizon has worked. But on the other hand skimming this thread I can’t find another person with a 9/26 delivery date most appear to be September 21/28 or October 5th.

My est. delivery date is 9/26.
 
My Verizon ship date / deliver by date is 9/26 as well, and I ordered at 11:30AM on the 14th
 
Did any of you order a case for your iPhone 5 during preorder? I ordered my phone at 1:55 a.m. (Central Time) and during the process it brought me to the accessories section of the Verizon store, and since they had cases already available for the iPhone 5 I went ahead and got two of them (one black one and one pink one since I ordered a phone for my wife as well).

In my Order Confirmation email, the cases show up as CAS APPLE IPHONE4S SILIC and CAS APPLE IPHONE4S HIGH GLOSS. The alarming part for me was of course the "4S" part. So, I sent an email to Verizon customer service and they said that I have ordered 4S cases, but I can return them after they are shipped for 5 cases. To me, this is total BS. I did order cases for the iPhone 5 on their site, but they are showing them as 4S cases. To me, this is a screwup on their part and something they should fix before sending them instead of leaving it to me to deal with it for them.

It happened to me as well. Ordered the Otterbox Defender which clearly showed for the iPhone 5 on their site but when receiving the confirmation email, it showed for the 4s. Spoke to customer service and stated the order couldnt be modified but that I can return it to a verizon store. unbelieveable!
