Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

its funny how people are asking for a screenshot as if they dont believe you.. why would someone make up theirs is shipping?!

i just dont see the point of needing to see it one way or the other. wont make mine come any faster.
No but gives some clues as to when shipping will happen.
My billing information is messed up, and Verizon refuses to change it, so when my card is denied because its authorized using the wrong billing information and my order is outright cancelled. Bleh, I'm unhappy now.
Did any of you order a case for your iPhone 5 during preorder? I ordered my phone at 1:55 a.m. (Central Time) and during the process it brought me to the accessories section of the Verizon store, and since they had cases already available for the iPhone 5 I went ahead and got two of them (one black one and one pink one since I ordered a phone for my wife as well).
In my Order Confirmation email, the cases show up as CAS APPLE IPHONE4S SILIC and CAS APPLE IPHONE4S HIGH GLOSS. The alarming part for me was of course the "4S" part. So, I sent an email to Verizon customer service and they said that I have ordered 4S cases, but I can return them after they are shipped for 5 cases. To me, this is total BS. I did order cases for the iPhone 5 on their site, but they are showing them as 4S cases. To me, this is a screwup on their part and something they should fix before sending them instead of leaving it to me to deal with it for them.

That's reassuring. The rep on the phone when I called this afternoon said it would automatically cancel.

How do you check you payment info
What time did you order yours? I'm wondering if their store wasn't updated properly at the time I ordered since it was a few minutes before the actual 2:00 (Central) order time.
You can't see what your existing payment information is. The phone reps wont tell you and theres no way to see online.
It's ridiculous really.
Well I ordered I case for it too and it went thru so I'm pretty sure I'm good if not well I'll be at the store if the email sayss other wise

Hmm... well I just looked at their accessories for both the iPhone 5 and the 4S, and the 19.99 silicone covers are *only* available on the iPhone 5 (they don't even have a 4S version of these). Maybe I'll still get the right cases in the end.
I also ordered a case which I thought was for the iPhone 5. However, it's listed on the order confirmation email CAS APPLE IPHONE4S OTTER DEFEN. Anyone else have the same issue?
Just for your information, just got off the phone with a Verizon rep. She said if the billing address on your payment method differs from the one you entered, IT WILL BE FINE ONLY IF THE ZIPCODE IS THE SAME..
So as long as both the ship to and billing addresses match, AND if the entered billing ZIPCODE matches the one on the card, you will be fine
