Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

I hope their system isn't as screwed up as AT&T's sometimes is. Tried to buy a phone in an AT&T store once and AMEX flagged it, immediately called me. Got it straightened out, but AT&T's system would not take the card again until 24 hours...
Hi!! I don't have my info either for shipping but that's ok. Memphis is the main hub for Fed Ex. The confirms so far all seem to be the farthest away (3-4 day fed ex ground shipping) from Memphis. Normally for me (near Chicago) the shipping is 2 days max. So I doubt I hear until Weds.
I've recieved in less time but it's normally 2 days. Based on ur location, I'd expect it to shop Monday if it's ground or air and ground combo.

I finished my order for a black 64GB around 12:10PT on 9/14, got the email confirmation couple minutes later stamped 12:16am. Order status still says, "We have received your order and it is in process." I haven't been charged still - not even a preauth for $1. Maybe because that's the card I use to pay my bill every month? I remember last year my 4S didn't charge right away either but not this long. Every one else seems to be moving along faster. Ship date still says 9/21 though.
I decided to take my chances and sleep to regular wake up time. Preordered at 5:34am CST. I now have the blank shipping date and the preorder status from the email pulls up my order number now with a tracking button that opens with blank information. Card still hasn't been charged...
Geesh! This forum is mentally unhealthy for me...
Now I find myself calling my card company to make sure they put a note on my account to allow the charge to go through from Verizon (whenever it does... hopefully soon... ordered at 3:30a EST) and refreshing my status every few minutes.

I guess I should have done that, but I've NEVER had to in the years of using this card.
Mine is "sent for processing" but hasn't hit my visa yet. I'm a little worried about my unlimited data too since the preorder system forced me to choose a different data plan despite me paying full retail (not even upgrade eligible anyway). If I look at my account now it shows I have TWO data plans attached.. One unlimited and one 4gb + tethering.
I noticed my AMEX was charged and under pending. Then I went to the preorder page and it said 10/5 as the shipment where it was 9/21 before. I called AMEX and the lady said that the charge went through fine and wasn't flagged. I just checked my preorder again and now it says "your order has been sent for processing" with the shipping date blank.
Maybe you can drop the 4GB once you get your phone? I know last year when I ordered my 4S it made it look like I was losing my unlimited but I ended up not.
