Verizon iPhone 5 Preorder Status Thread

ok wtf, my phone says sent for processing and the delivery date is blank but my sisters says processing payment not taken yet and the delivery date is at 10/5 now instead of 9/21.

Some will...but most will not. FedEx doesn't want to screw up their contract with Apple/Verizon.

They just hit the fraud protection on my AMEX. Checked my Preorder status.. and expected ship date now shows 10/5 instead of 9/21. My order was in the first hour.

Hopefully AMEX didn't just screw me..

I'm nervous watching some people get hit by fraud protection by AMEX.
I hope that's not the case for me because my card is not showing any charges as of right now although order status changed to "sent for processing."
Well, it changed couple minutes ago so I'll give it some time.

same thing happened to me.... i'm a 5 digit order number.... i'm on the phone with them right now and they're trying to tell me it's a 1st come 1st serve thing.... i'm pretty dang high on the list...

Well, it changed couple minutes ago so I'll give it some time.

If you're that nervous call your bank and tell them you are expecting a charge from Verizon for xxx.xx amount and they should be able to put it in their system so it doesn't get flagged as fraud.

Pre-Ordered Black 32GB and White 16GB as New Customer on Verizon 9/14 @ 3:05AM(EST). Just a few minutes ago pre-order status went to "Sent for Processing" and CC has been charged.

I guess we now wait for tracking info. . .

Everyone calm down. I just refreshed my order status page and it says Expected Ship date: 10/5

However I called Verizon two days ago, they said everything was fine with the order and I just called my credit card company and they said it was approved from the very beginning.

Not sure that I trust the Expected Ship date Verizon is claiming.

I've charged thousands and thousands of dollars to my AMEX business card and never had a fraud alert. Five minutes ago I get an email then an automated call saying a charge had been attempted by Verizon Wireless and they flagged it as fraud. I went through the steps to confirm the charge. It said the charge had been attempted less than 15 minutes ago.

I just checked my order status, and after having a ship date of 9/21, I now have a ship date of 10/5. Pre-ordered right at 3:00 AM Friday morning.

You have got to be KIDDING me.

Get on the phone with verizon ASAP!
