Same deal here. White 64gb charged to the same card I auto-bill to every month. It's "processing" it no pre-auth or full charge yet. Ordered mine at about exactly midnight, confirm email is stamped 12:04am.
For payment I'm using my PayPal Debit card and making sure the total amount will be payed with more than enough money in my account. With all the precharges I'm reading about, I've yet to even get charged $1. And my order is still being processed. I'm beginning to worry. That might just be anxiousness after seeing all the i5's that are currently shipping..
I bet you're right. Probably just a system glitch of some sort. I hope everyone with AMEX gets their orders worked out okay.

Stopped paying attention, got some work done and now my order just got charged (still a pending charge actually) and status updated to "Your order has been sent for processing". Shipping just around the corner.

My Visa shows Verizon charge 427.99 and then a reversal for -427.99 and my ship date went to 10/5. Ughhh! This sucks!

Is the pending charge for the full amount? Charges on cards can stay pending for a while. I bought gas last week and it was pending for an entire week before posting.
Sorry to hear that...I was about to use my Chase card but used my AMEX for the extended warranty.
Same here, I pay my Verizon iPad service fee with my AMEX so I assume it'll be fine though.
Oh no... i hope this doesn't happen to me... i used a chase card. I just spoke with the fraud department and everything to authorize the charge whenever it comes through... i hope it doesn't get flagged

I think I'm actually more pissed to find out the LTE iPhone won't allow talk and data at the same time. Good thing I haven't dropped AT&T yet, I may be going back. Come on Verizon, this CDMA BS is SUCH a drag!

My ship date disappeared from this page, like it did for some others.
My credit card (Visa) now has a pending charge for the full amount. I'm happy to see it (I don't think I've ever said that before), but now I'm nervous that it'll trigger a fraud alert and push back the ship date

If it's already pending I wouldn't worry about it. Usually if it is going to trigger a fraud alert they either block the charge from happening or call you ASAP so if you haven't gotten a call you're fine. It's not like they call the next day and go "oh yeah by the way we think there was fraudulent activity on your account" they take care of it ASAPOrdered about 5 minutes past midnight on Friday. Ugh, I got an email that I had to confirm the deposit to add two lines. Called and did so only to check the status and see the date slip to 10/5.
Called back and the rep said there's no reason that should have changed. She was able to authorize my card. Date still says 10/5. She talked to a supervisor who said they don't see a reason it would let them auth the card if it wasn't ready to ship, but couldn't definitively say.

Does anyone know if I can port my number after I get my iphone? I originally decided not to port my number at the time of purchase but have since decided to keep my number. Can I still port my number even though Verizon has already assigned me one?

Mine that was cancelled was Chase. Trying to call them now. Perhaps that whole "envision what you want" thing is right because I have been sure something would go wrong with this damn order.
Yes. You should have a pending charge for the full amount now which means it is about to ship. Should get a tracking number tonight/tomorrow.
