Chase Card Authorized
Hey guys, my chase card was authorized. They drive me nuts cause they always check stuff for fraud...so I called and gave them the heads up that it was coming. Now it says my order has been sent for processing. I'm on the east coast and put my order in right when the site opened. No shipping info yet....but this is just like last year with 4s expect I didn't get charged till Tuesday then and got tracking info on Wednesday.

Call the internet sales department to ensure the card goes through and from what other people are saying you will be alright.

After I posted, i looked again and the charge went through 9/17 today, now.

My girlfriend and I are on two different Verizon accounts. She has an upgrade but she gave me hers so I bought an iPhone 5 and I plan on giving her my phone that I have now. How would I go about activating the iPhone 5 on my account? Note I am not on a family plan with her. Two separate plans.

I've been charged and my order is processing. I have no shipment date due to it disappearing. I ordered 5 for my family. 4 32 gig and 1 16 gig.
I hope that's why mine is delayed. I have 3 phones ordered at 3:40am NYT too. 2 64s and 1 16. Hope that's why I haven't gotten a charge or change of status yet.

Last year, my card was charged on 10/11, got tracking info at 5:30PM Central on 10/12, received phone on 10/14.
So, since most of us got charged today, don't expect tracking info until tomorrow afternoon. Probably still get phones on 9/21, not early.

Friend ordered his prior to midnight with a confirmation email received at 12:02 AM. His location was D772101.
He had the pre-Auth charge of $1 since Friday but just now received the pre-Auth charge for the full amount.
His status changed to: Your Order Has Been Sent for Processing.
He doesn't remember what it said before but it did have a shipping date of 9/21 previously and now that is missing.

I'm calling BS on this.
Well I am on the 1400 talk/unlimited text/unlimited data family plan. Basically I have 5 lines and data only costs $10 per line. So in total, I am paying $200 a month for all of the above.
If they switched me over to the new shared plans, I would be paying $300+ a month. This $100 savings at least PER month equals $1200 PER year.
So basically, spend $500 extra now, save $1200 down the road.
Porting 4 #s ATT to VZW - advice?
I've got 4 new iPhone 5s coming from Verizon on Friday. I am wondering if anyone has experience with porting multiple lines and if there are any nuances to be aware of. When I purchased the new phones from VZW online I provided my AT&T account information and #s to port.
I am wondering at what point my AT&T account will be closed down? Will it be when I activate the 1st phone/ported #? Will that have any effect pn the ability to port the other #s. Any advice is appreciated. I don't want to lose any of the numbers.

If its the phone, it'll be held at your local center/hub. Otherwise it could be accessories you ordered?
Yeah I finally talked my parents and brother into iPhones and of course me and my wife. I was lucky Verizon allowed orders of 5.
