Ordered 4 16GB Black iPhone 5's right at 3AM EST, and got my confirmation immediately after I hit submit. I did have to use my wifes name for the billing address eventhough I used my credit card, but I doubt seriously this will be an issue.

I did have an issue transferring an upgrade from the one phone that I wasn't upgrading to another, so I just ordered it on the number that I didn't want to upgrade and will deal with it later.

My total monthly bill was also way off (and I can't figure out why), but I'll sort that out with billing after these phones get delivered...

I too have an incorrect total. I ordered thru Verizon, logged into my account and told it to add another line. It shows my monthly total as if I only have the new iPhone on family share. I figured once it ships I will call Verizon to correct.
 
Anyone have any experience canceling a Verizon.com order for new service?

I pushed through the order at Verizon for new service when Apple.com wasn't responding, was eventually able to get through on Apple and now would like to cancel the Verizon.com order.

Anyone with experience doing this?

Yea, the last thing I want to do is have them screwing around with my account during this week while the phone's are on pre-order. Verizon is pretty good about fixing account billing problems, applying credits, etc.
 
Anyone else notice Verizon.com didn't show an activation fee? I was ordering through Apple an saw it. Went to Verizon went all they way through and it never mentioned it....

It's the only reason I didn't go through apple lol.

Paid full price for a black 32GB, so I was able to keep my unlimited data and my old Alltel plan.

AmEx was hit for a $1.00 preauthorization charge, so that means I typed all of the numbers correctly :)

Now the wait begins.........
 
Can someone please tell me why when I put my order number in, it says this:

BTW, I did receive a confirmation email. Just wanted to know if I'm not alone here.

I did the same. At least the wait is only a week. :)

pre-ordered right through AT&T, took 2 seconds. i cant believe i just re-married to that company for 2 more years ARGH
 
ordered mine close to 230 am central time. couldn't get it to go through with unlimited data even though i was buying full retail with verizon. ended up calling cust support who said it should've been an option. they annotated my acct to state that it needs to be changed back to unlimited as well when the phone arrives and i got a vzw text confirmation stating that.

also, my monthly payment is off in the confirmation email. but i looked and saw that they are charging me for unlimited data for $30 and 2gb dta for $30.

I guess they changed the activation fee to the upgrade fee. They usually wave the activation fee. Its just a bs charge thats all. I wouldnt say furious just like u really need an extra $30 from me??? Whatever just excited to get back to Apple from Samsung.

only way around it is if you pay full price for the phone. so it's not an "upgrade"
 
I woke up at 255am. Hit apple store from ipad. No good. Refreshed 86 times....no go. Got on ATT, started order..Then it said it needed more info and would not let me proceed. WHAT INFO!! I'm yelling at 3am. By this time it's 3:25 or better. Getting mad! Reach over and grab laptop. Open IE, Apple store opens..lets me get to existing customer. Click continue and it does nothing. Open Firefox, Apple store, grab phone, wont let me change shipping address. Hell with it, i'll stay home that day. Pay, done. Ship on 21st. Back to bed.

This "upgrade fee" stinks.

But if you dig into the VZW site enough, you'll see this:

I checked the trade in price on my Droid X. They'd give me $24.97 for it. Not that I'd be trading it in, since I want a backup in case my new iP5 dies for some reason and I'm without a phone for a while. And heck, the thing still works.

Yep noticed that too. Maybe it was because it was at full retail.
 
Can anyone check their order status through the email confirm. When I type the order number and my last name, it says it can't find the order.
