Verizon iPhone Orders Already Shipping

Hmm... there's an option on that tracking number for "hold at fedex location", yet it's not giving anyone else (us) that option. or is it? from what I've heard they're not letting anyone do that.

Mine says the exact same thing, but keep in mind the disclaimer on that "Some shipments may not be eligible for this service."
If you click on the "Hold at FedEx Location" it gives you this: "Hold at FedEx Location service is not available for this shipment."

Monday delivery is fine by me, what three more days after 4 years?

I work monday so that's my main reason of concern ): it only requires an indirect signature so I could hypothetically leave a note but not too sure I want to leave $900 in phones (3 32gb) on my front stoop in plain view and in the freeeeeezing cold. I'm torn ):

Just talked to UPS again. All she could tell me is that its still in PA, on its way to Philly (which doesn't make much sense, since its going to Boston). She said it would arrive Monday, because it needed to be "in transit" for one day...whatever that means.

I was fully prepared to get mine on Monday but I had hoped for earlier.

Also..my reference # is d####01_00000034901..however my order number was 349..so they put a 01 @ the end of my 349... THE. # signs r to hide the read digits fyi..

You have a point there, maybe leave a note with an alternative location to put them instead of the front porch? This is when it helps to have elderly neighbors that are home all the time...

This weekend, time will go by abnormally slow. I can guarantee this will be the case for all of us waiting. So three days will be a hell of a long time. I know, I'm impatient.

I am SO glad I didn't go off at my Verizon rep this morning when she told me no one will be getting the phone til Monday. Almost scolded her saying that people were getting in transit today all over the place. She was right and a great rep.

I agree. If this were any other shipment, besides one from Verizon, this wouldn't be acceptable. If they have a service which claims delivery within a time frame, they need to meet that expectation.

With my FedEx tracking number, it states that an indirect signature is acceptable. This would mean leaving a handwritten note would suffice.

Yeah, I think it's all good now. I received 2 confirmation emails from Verizon stating they were shipped with ETA by 3pm Monday. She also noted I had an email address set up in my acct that didn't belong to me (VERY strange). So it should be all good now. Thanks for asking!

Just think. Come Monday, we have to go through this all over again. Except there should be a lot of "WHOOHOOO!!"s and "YES!!!"s. But I sense a lot of profanity coming as well. I hope I'm one of the "WHOOHOO!!"s.

We actually have that, but I wouldn't feel right asking her to keep an eye out xD I hypothetically could, but the cold worries me. and my elderly neighbor could totally gank my phones. rofl

just got new's its either at gaithersburg or intransit there. kind of confused because it says last location, gaithersburg. can someone explain if they think it will be delivered tonight or if i should call verizon/ups to hold it for tonight or tomorrow pick up.
